A father tells his son the invention of the wheel was most important; to prove it, the two hipsters visit the inventor caveman Donald Duck. There follows a survey of the progress of transportation, a digression into the basics of gear ratios, a series of live-action dancers to various styles of music inside a giant jukebox, an illustration of the use of wheels in power generation and space satellites, etc. Ultimately, Donald decides he doesn't want the responsibility, but certainly someone else would take on the task.

메드필드 대학은 재정적으로 어려움을 겪고있는 시골마을의 작은 대학이다. 그곳의 물리화학과 교수인 네드 브래이너드는 늘 연구에 골똘해 있어서 중요한 일을 잊거나 실수를 잘 하는 사람이다. 하도 건망증이 심해서 가정부가 일일이 챙겨주는 데도 불구하고 자기 결혼식에도 세 번이나 참석하지 못했다. 그 때문에 메드필드 대학의 총장비서이며 결혼 상대자인 벳시는 더 이상 참을 수 없어서 화를 내고, 그런 벳시에게 러틀렌드 대학의 교수인 쉘비가 끈질기게 구애한다. 네드는 결혼식까지 잊어가며 연구에 몰두하다가 우연한 폭발사고로 스스로 에너지를 만들어내며 멈추지 않고 튀어오를 수 있는 고무같은 물질을 발견한다. 그리고 그 이름을 '플러버'라고 짓는다. 플러버는 지구 중력에 영향을 받지 않는 물질로 과학사에 빛날 획기적인 발견이다. 네드는 플러버를 벳시에게 보여주고 오해를 풀고 인정받고 싶었으나 뜻대로 안되고 쉘비가 방해하자 플러버를 이용해서 하늘을 나는 차로 그를 골려준다. 우연히 그의 차를 목격한, 사업가이며 고리대금업자인 호크가 네드 교수에게 동업을 제의한다. 그러나 네드가 그의 제의를 거절하자 앙심을 품은 호크와 그의 아들 비프는 음모를 꾸민다. 그들의 계략 때문에 육해공 사령관들과 많은 사람들 앞에서 네드는 망신을 당하는데, 계속 네드의 말을 믿지않던 벳시가 그의 말을 믿어주고, 힘이 되어 준다. 두 사람은 플러버의 힘을 이용해서 호크가 바꿔치기한 자기 차를 되찾고 워싱턴으로 날아간다. 그리고 우여곡절 끝에 네드의 연구 결과는 뛰어난 업적으로 인정받고, 마침내 네드와 벳시는 결혼식을 올린다.

This final True-Life Adventure would also appear to be one of the best, as we go into the South American jungle to observe the jaguar. Jungle Cat is more intimate than its kin, allowing individual animal characters to be developed. Central to the cast is a pair of jaguars (one ebony), whose fighting leads to love and, not long after, two babies (one resembling each parent).

Disney used animation here to explain through this wonderful adventure of Donald how mathmatics can be usuful in our real life. Through this journey Donald shows us how mathmatics are not just numbers and charts, but magical living things.

아일랜드의 작은 산골 마을에 살고 있는 다비 오길(Darby O'Gill: 알버트 쉐프 분)은 작은 요정 레프리콘의 왕과 친구가 된다. 레프리콘은 세가지 소원을 들어주는 아일랜드 전설 속의 요정. 다비는 늙어서 영주의 관리인 자리에서 쫓겨날 처지이다. 요정왕은 이 사실을 알고 다비를 요정 왕국에 와서 살게 하지만, 다비는 꾀를 써서 외동딸 케이티(Katie: 자넷 먼로 분)에게 돌아간다. 브라이언 왕(King Brian: 지미 오디어 분)은 다비를 다시 요정왕국으로 잡아 가려고 인간세상에 나왔다가 다비의 계교에 빠져 잡히는 신세가 된다. 다비는 왕에게 세가지 소원을 들어 달라고 요구하지만, 무슨 소원을 말할지 마음을 정하지 못한다. 한편 케이티는 영주를 따라 관리인집에 찾아온 젊은 더블린 청년 마이클(Michael McBride: 숀 코넬리 분)에게 호감을 느낀다. 그러나 마이클이 새로온 관리인이고, 그 때문에 부녀가 관리인집에서 쫓겨나게 된 것을 안 케이티는 마이클에게 화를 내고 밤중에 산속에서 말을 찾으러 나갔다가 벼랑에서 떨어져 중태에 빠진다. 죽음의 마차가 케이티를 데리러 오는 것을 본 다비는 브라이언 왕에게 딸 대신 자기를 마차에 태워 달라는 소원을 말한다. 브라이언은 다비를 속여 소원이 무효화 되게 해서 케이티와 다비의 목숨을 구해준다.

Donald is visiting South America, where he is first overcome by altitude sickness. He spends some time in the picturesque market. Then he take a llama up into the mountains, with exciting results.

Mickey and Pluto go hunting for quail. Pluto scares away the first ones they see; Mickey scolds him, then relents. He shows Pluto how to be a pointer, and they set off after another quail, but Mickey accidentally jumps on a bear's nose, and thinks it's Pluto. Meanwhile, Pluto finds the quail and points. The babies climb on board and start picking at his hairs, but Pluto's been told not to move. Mickey finally comes across Pluto, who by now is covered by small animals, and realizes he's being followed by a bear. Mickey tries to reason with the bear, and backs off a cliff, onto Pluto.

Goofy goes fishing with his best friend, Wilbur, a grasshopper.

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are crewing a whaling ship. Their mishaps include Donald fighting off some hungry birds, Mickey and a bucket of water that keeps doing a boomerang impression, and Goofy firing the cannon and getting stuck high in the air, and ultimately inside a whale. And when he lands the whale well, let's just say they're gonna need a bigger boat.

Night in an old mill is dramatically depicted in this Oscar-winning short in which the frightened occupants, including birds, timid mice, owls, and other creatures try to stay safe and dry as a storm approaches. As the thunderstorm worsens, the mill wheel begins to turn and the whole mill threatens to blow apart until at last the storm subsides.
