An award-winning New Orleans playwright with more than 30 awards and distinctions for playwriting excellence and over 20 productions over the past twenty years. Susan's comedy, Dead Dogs Don't Fart, won the Diverse Playwriting Contest sponsored by the Hinton Battle Theatre Laboratory in New York City. The play has received multiple awards and productions, enjoying sold-out performances throughout the U.S. and in London. Susan's drama, Where Time Is Money, has been performed by six production companies in four different states and has won seven awards. Her comedy, Snoring? Not Me! was selected and performed in the New Play Festival at Gardner-Webb University, NC. Her musical, Hearts, produced by Prime Time Theatre Productions, was nominated for the Storer Boone award and the Marquee award as best original play performed in New Orleans.
