2차 대전 당시 폴란드와 독일 나치군 사이에서 자신의 살 길을 찾는 이탈리아 병사의 블랙 코미디. 러시아 전선에서 집으로 돌아가던 이탈리아 군인 주세페는 기차가 포격을 당하고 총까지 잃어버리면서 총을 되찾기 위해 말도 통하지 않는 바르샤바에 머문다. 이후 레지스탕스 멤버인 마리아와 엮이면서 그의 이상한 모험이 펼쳐진다.

After years of working in the city, Róża returns to the countryside. The property she has accumulated draws the attention of local bachelors.

A young boy and girl travel in a strange car and encounter various objects which come alive to help them. Eventually they leave the Earth altogether and visit a strange, new planet.
