Controversial director Angela Chan explores the "La Cage Aux Folles" demi-monde that thrives in today's Hong Kong, but which has never before been portrayed in a major movie. Alex To plays a handsome fashion designer trapped in a tangle of ambiguous relationships that becomes even more complex when he falls for a beautiful D.J. (Cecilia Yip) who, with the help of her best friend (Cherie Chung), is trying to get out of an arranged marriage. This film looks and sounds like a comedy, but has some serious comments about a veiled segment of Hong Kong.

표표는 두 명의 아내 낸시와 펫시를 데리고 미국으로 이민을 가려 한다. 하지만 아내가 둘인 탓에 이민 서류 준비에 어려움을 겪게 되고, 미국 영주권이 있는 노총각 리처드에게 위장 결혼을 부탁한다.

Rose (Maggie Cheung) and her big brother Charles (Chow Yun-fat) live a fairy-tale existence in their seaside villa. Rose is young, beautiful, and spoiled - in a word, irresistible. Disappointed in love, she moves to Paris. When Charles dies suddenly, she rushes back to Hong Kong to take over the family estate. Fate intervenes when she meets Ka-ming (also played by Chow Yun-fat), who is the exact image of her late brother. The two fall in love, but their romance is in the hands of a not always benevolent fate.

The Suzie in the title refers to The World Of Suzy Wong, a great novel by British author Richard Mason which was made into a terrible Hollywood movie in 1960. Like Suzy, Shu Mei goes to work in a bar in Wanchai around the late 1950s, where sailors and foreign money are plentiful. But there isn't much similarity beyond this.

A girl from war-devastated Hong Kong in 2005 returns to the present to destroy the man responsible for bombing himself and his VP boss at a foundation plant ceremony. It is prophesied that the aftermath of the bombing will lead to devastating wars in the future. With the man eliminated wars can be prevented, but the spirit of his great-grandfather wants to save him.

A professor accidentally creates a pill that essentially makes him Superman. Soon everybody, from a soccer team to a gang boss, wants those pills and the clever complications compound until it's up to a fast-thinking "Super Girl" to save the day.

1941년 일본의 침공을 앞둔 홍콩은 혼란스럽기만 하다. 그 혼란 속에 페이는 우연히 호아국강과 그의 애인 남희를 만나 우정을 맺고, 함께 홍콩을 떠나 대륙으로 갈 계획을 세운다. 그러나 막상 떠나려는 순간 국강은 남을 것을 결심하고, 남희와 페이도 그와 함께 남아 일본군에 저항할 것을 다짐한다. 지하조직의 일원이 된 세 사람은 저항 활동을 한다. 페이는 일본군의 앞잡이를 자원하여 자유 통행증을 발급받아 국강과 남희를 물심양면으로 돕는다. 국강은 우연히 암시장에서 도박을 해서 많은 돈을 벌지만 일본군의 하수인 조직에 갇힌 친구들을 발견하고 싸움을 벌인다. 페이가 위험을 무릅쓰고 붙잡힌 국강을 구하는 구하는 과정에서 국강은 중상을 입는다. 국강을 간호하던 남희는 페이에게 사랑을 표현한다. 남희와 결혼하려던 일본군 장교를 살해한 국강과 페이는 다시 홍콩을 떠나기 위해 배를 탄다. 항해중 일본준 순시선의 검문 받게 되자 페이는 수류탄을 몸에 지니고 일본군의 배에 올라 함께 자폭한다.

1937년 어느 운명적인 밤, 젊은 아가씨 슈와 젊은 병사 퉁이 일본군의 폭격을 피해 상하이에 있는 슈초우 다리밑에서 만나게 된다. 그곳에서 그들은 친밀한 관계를 맺게되고 전쟁이 끝난 후 바로 그 다리 밑에서 다시 만나기로 약속한다. 1947년, 그러한 일이 있은 후 10년이 지났으나 그들의 바램은 이루어지지 못한다. 퉁은 이때 작사가로서의 출세를 기다리며 음악에 눈을 뜨기 시작하였고, 슈는 성숙한 여인이 되어 나이트 클럽의 쇼걸로 일하면서 혼자 생활을 꾸려나간다. 한편 천진난만하고 명랑한 아가씨 차는 퉁과 사랑에 빠지고, 동시에 그녀는 슈와 의자매를 맺게 된다. 슈와 퉁은 그들이 전에 서로 만났다는 것을 깨닫지 못한채 다시 만나게 되고, 또 한번 서로에게 끌리게 된다. 하지만 슈는 퉁에 대한 차의 감정을 알기 때문에 그들의 사이에 방해가 되지 않으리라 결심한다. 한편 Mr.X라는 인물은 뚱뚱하고 야비한 사업가로서 달력 모델의 여왕이 된 차를 꾀어 유혹하려 하는데...
