Hokkaido, Japan: An old woman -- formerly a man -- lives by a lake in the northern reaches of Japan, gazing at Nakajima Island in its center where her daughter's body was found long ago. She hasn't been able to visit for almost 50 years. Tokyo: A middle-aged man lives on an island where criminals were once exiled in the past, earning a sparse living as a cattle herder. He is descended from such exiled criminals. He raised his only daughter by himself after losing his wife in an accident. One day, the daughter comes home from the mainland, seemingly pregnant but unwilling to explain.

엄마는 돌아가시고, 아빠는 경찰에 잡혀갔다. 늘 불행한 삶만을 살아오고있다고 생각한 소녀 유키에(나카타니 미키)는 잠깐이라도 진정한 행복을 맛보고 싶어했다. 정말 작은 행복이라도 상관없었다. 십수년의 시간이 흐른 어느 날 아침, 싸움 박질하고 쓰러져 기절한 모습이 시체로 오해되어 영안실까지 안치되었던 전직 야쿠자 출신의 이사오(아베 히로시). 이런 남자의 부인이 된 유키에는 아직 부부로서 호적상에도 올라있지 않은 그런 묘한 관계를 유지하고 있다. 이사오는 백수건달인 것도 모자라 걸핏하면 빠칭코에서 아내의 돈을 탕진하고 술만 마시기를 반복하는 한심한 남편이다. 유키에가 언제나 정성들여 차려놓은 밥상에 별거 아닌 일에 븐노한 나머지 뒤엎기를 반복한 것이 어느 덧 올해만 30번이 넘었다. 그런 남편의 저질스런 심술에도 불구하고 유키에는 식당에서 꿋꿋하게 더 열심히 일하여 돈을 벌고, 남편을 위해 더 맛있는 음식을 차린다. 도대체 두 사람 사이엔 과거 어떤 사연이 있었기에 유키에는 이런 비참한 삶 속에서도 이사오를 사랑하고 그와 함께 있기를 원하는 것일까. 다만 자신의 앞에서 타인이 아내에게 행패를 부리는 것, 나쁘게 욕하는 것만큼은 절대 참지 못하는 이사오는 그 상대가 무시무시한 야쿠자라 할지라도 절대 봐주는 법이 없었다. 어느 날 유키에는 갑작스럽게 자신이 임신했다는 것을 알게되었고, 이는 그녀를 들뜨게 만들었지만 정작 남편 이사오는 별로 기뻐하는 반응이 보이지 않는다. 유키에는 이런 남편이 너무 섭섭할 따름이다. 살기힘든 세상 속에서 자신을 자학하면서도 희망을 놓지 않으려는 그녀에게 과연 따뜻한 미래는 올 것인가.

Ichigo no kakera deals with a female manga artist Ichigo Nekoda (Miyazawa), whose career is heading into a downward spiral as she can't reinvent the success of her 12 year old hit the Cherry Road. Now in her early 30's she's become quite fond of alcohol and egoism to some annoyance of her loyal manager Tomoko (Kajiwara), who isn't willing to leave her side even though the financial strains of her client are also becoming her personal burdens. Ichigo still gets greeted by her female fans and willingly signs autographs, but getting praised for work that she's done over a decade ago doesn't digest as smoothly as one would assume. Her on and off man, who happens to also be her editor steers toward the off days more than usual as he also grows tired of Ichigo's uninspired ways. But when the going gets tough, Ichigo heads down to a transvestite bar where she's more than welcomed with words of wisdom and a few hard drinks.

1985년 7월 13일 개봉한 루팡 3세의 세번째 극장판. 루팡 3세 Part III를 기준으로 한 유일한 극장판. 덕분에 루팡의 자켓은 분홍색. 오랜 옛날 메소포타미아 문명시절 바빌론의 황금성을 신이 가져가던 도중 놓쳐 지구에 다시 떨어지게 되었다. 그 황금성을 찾기위해 뉴욕의 마피아 그리고 루팡 일행은 서로를 견제해 가며 고군분투한다. 한편 로제타라는 할머니는 수천년전부터 지구에 남겨진 후 바빌론의 황금성을 찾아 왔지만 아직까지 찾지 못하고 있다. 로제타의 정체를 아는 이는 없으나 로제타는 루팡에게 자신의 정체를 말한다. 어느 날 맨하탄의 지하에서 바빌론의 황금성에 대한 실마리가 발견되어 마피아와 루팡이 경쟁을 벌이게 되나 결국 루팡이 바빌론의 황금성을 발견하게 된다. 이를 알아챈 로제타가 황금성을 우주로 가져가려 하지만 마침내 다시 지구에 떨어지게 되고 로제타는 우주로 떠난다.

Kagari (Akira Kobayashi), a scout and overseer of Ginza bar hostesses, receives an urgent phone call from Sawako, a hostess at the bar Rie, and rushes to Tokyo International Airport to meet her. When he arrives she is gone. At the bar he learns that Tabuchi, a steady customer, had been quite friendly with Sawako and may know something. Tabuchi claims he knows nothing and Kagari lets the matter drop. Over time Kagari learns from Takijima, a businessman, that Sawako is in a hospital in Yokohama. Takijima explains that he found her in Singapore working as a street girl and brought her back to Japan. Sawako had lost her memory after being subjected to narcotics. Kagari swears to find the person responsible.
