After getting released for serving a double life sentence, Sachidanandan returns to connect and live with his family until his past catches up to him, forcing him to protect his loved ones.

Two children raised by single parents want to enjoy the happiness of a complete family. To achieve this, they try to unite their parents, but end up in trouble.

Bhoominathan aka Bhoomi is introduced to us as a person who gets into many local fights. Worried about his future, his family sends him to Muthuramalingam (Raj Kiran), a much respected personality in his place Semmanur, to put Bhoomi's life on the right track. But things don't go as planned. Muthuramalingam's adversary threatens to kill his daughter Meera (Asin) as a revenge against his own daughter's fate. So Bhoomi is given the job of Meera's bodyguard at college. Meera goes to college with her friend Madhu but is irritated by Bhoomi's presence everywhere. So she devises a plan.

Jayakrishnan, a bodyguard, is an innocent man who respects his boss and his daughter. He falls in love with a girl whom he has never met, unaware that she is his boss's daughter.

An idealist named Hindustani comes across evidence against the State's Chief Minister R.C. Narayan. He abducts his aide, a politician named Raghavchari, then fakes his death by a motor vehicle accident. After convincing everyone about this death, he keeps him captive, and starts to blackmail the Chief Minister with hopes to bring about change - but Narayan has other plans for him.
