Behind the scenes of Unforgiven (1992)

The Theatre of Death in Paris specialises in horror presentations. A police surgeon finds himself becoming involved in the place through his attraction to one of the performers. When bloodless bodies start showing up all over town he realises there could be links with the theatre.

Joe is a young boy who lives with his mother, Joanna, in working-class London. The two reside above the tailor shop of Mr. Kandinsky, who likes to tell Joe stories. When Kandinsky informs Joe that a unicorn can grant wishes, the hopeful lad ends up buying a baby goat with one tiny horn, believing it to be a real unicorn. Undaunted by his rough surroundings, Joe sets about to prove that wishes can come true.

1930년대 영국, 왕의 암살로 끝난 시민 전쟁으로 요오크카의 맏이 에드워드가 왕위에 오르나 그의 왕권에 불만을 품은 막내 동생 리차드 글로쎄스터(Richard III: 로렌스 올리비에 분)은 마음에 두고 있던 앤(Lady Anne Neville: 클레어 브룸 분)을 얻기 위해 그녀의 남편을 처참히 죽이고 아내로 맞게 된다. 리차드는 자신의 집권에 방해가 되는 사람들을 하나씩 제거해 나갈 계획을 세운다. 맨처음 희생자는 자신의 정치적 야심에 걸림돌로 여기는 큰 형 클러랜스(George, Duke of Clarence: 존 제일거드 분)를 탑에 가두어 끝내 심복 타이렛(James Tyrell: 패트릭 드로튼 분)을 시켜 살해한다. 이어 엘리자베스(Elizabeth Woodville, Queen Elizabeth: 매리 커리지 분) 오빠 리버스(Antony Woodville, Earl Rivers: 클리브 모톤 분)는 정부와 정사 중 리차드에 의해 비참하게 살해된다. 또한 리차드는 어린 승계자 웨일즈 왕자(Edward, Prince Of Wales: 폴 휴스턴 분)와 웨일즈의 동생 제임스도 탑에 가두어 살해한 후 호민관의 지위에 오른다. 그런 다음 카리스마적인 리차드를 추앙하는 무리들에 의해 '리차드 3세'로 추대됨으로써 그의 숙원인 제왕의 자리에 서게 된다. 그러나 새로운 왕, 리차드 3세에 반대하는 세력은 점점 더 거세게 밀려온다. 한편 색마 리차드는 엘리자베스 여왕을 설득해 그녀의 딸과 결혼하려 하나 자신과 숙명의 대결자 헨리 리치몬드에게 빼앗기고 만다. 결국 '이기기 전엔 죽어도 물러서지 않는다'던 리차드는 민의의 대변자, 헨리 리치몬드가 이끄는 군대에 도전을 받아 불길 속에서 추락하는 비참한 최후를 맞는다.

He proves himself exceptionally skilled for a recruit, arousing the suspicion of his commanding officer who starts an investigation. He redeems himself during combat. The film was titled "Paratrooper" in the US.

어린 시절 불의의 사고로 다리의 성장이 멈춰버림으로인해 난쟁이로 살아갈 수 밖에 없었던 로트렉(Toulouse-Lautrec: 호세 페레 분)은 신체적인 핸디캡으로 인해 절망에 빠져 자신의 삶을 학대하듯 방탕한 삶을 살아간다. 그러던 중 생계를 위해 광고 포스터 일을 하게 되고, 물랑루즈에 드나들게 되면서 격조 높은 여가수 잔느 아브릴(Jane Avril: 즈사 즈사 가보르 분), 쾌활한 무희 라 굴뤼(La Goulue: 캐서린 캐스 분), 강렬한 캐리캐처의 뱅상 드소쉬(Valentin Dessosse: 월터 그리샴 분)에 등 당대의 유명인사들과 교분을 쌓게 되고, 로트렉 역시 몽마르트의 유명인이 되지만 술과 방탕한 생활은 너무나도 일찍 그의 삶을 빼 앗아간다.

2차 대전 직후 미국의 소설가 홀리 마틴스는 친구 해리의 연락을 받고 빈에 도착한다. 그를 반긴 것은 해리가 교통사고로 죽었다는 소식. 홀리는 친구의 애인 안나를 만나고 해리가 가짜 페니실린을 밀매했다는 혐의로 연합군의 추적을 받아왔음을 알게 된다. 친구의 죽음을 의심하던 홀리 앞에 홀연히 나타나는 해리. 홀리는 가짜 페니실린으로 고통받는 사람들을 접하고 해리를 체포하려는 칼로웨이 소령에게 협조하기로 결심한다. 그레이엄 그린의 원작 소설을 영화로 만든 작품.
