First production by Directors' Company. A man stripped bare of all modern values lives in a pure form, like a beast, feeding and satiating his every primal desire whenever they may arise. He takes on a mate, a woman intrigued by his personage or lack thereof, and they live in his den in central Tokyo. As time goes on, we see how this animal clashes with modern man, and the consequences of their coexistance.
The man has a monotonous job punching tickets for the Japanese railway. One night, while walking home, he saves Jun from getting raped by two hoodlums. A few days later, he sneaks into her house but gets discovered. Later, as he watches his son subdue an insect with a chemical, the man gets an idea to subdue women while they're sleeping so he won't be discovered sneaking into their home. His new hobby spirals out of control as his confidence grows.
Miku
In a rural town, ex-members of a motorcycle gang become sporadic victims of a vigilante attack. A group of high school boys are responsible for the various assaults because they're upset that the motorcycle gang had disbanded. Seemingly, these kids idolized the rebel gang and harbored dreams of joining them after graduation. Female student Miku (Megumi Saki) happens to see one of the vengeance assaults, and is threat-ened by the high school thugs. After getting raped, she soon develops a compassion for the wild boys.
