곧 영국 기숙학교를 떠나 사회로 나가게 되는 돌라포. 그녀는 자신의 타고난 머리카락을 숨기도록 강요받는다. 그로 인해 돌라포는 세상이 자신을 어떻게 보는지 의문을 가지기 시작한다. 돌라포는 가발을 사지만, 그 가발 또한 그것만의 색채가 있음을 느끼고 돌라포는 이 가발이 어디로부터 왔을지를 생각해본다.
