무림의 고수 이심환(적룡)은 자신의 목숨을 구해준 정소윤(악화)과 한때 사랑했던 여인 시음(여안안안)을 맺어주고 무림을 떠나서 조용히 살고 있다. 그러나 20여년전에 악명을 떨친 악마에 가까운 검객 ‘매화도’가 나타나 연쇄살인을 일으키면서 무림계는 다시 혼란에 빠진다. 이후 무림의 장주들이 이심환을 매화도로 의심하면서 그는 위기에 빠진다. 과연 매화도의 정체는 누구이며, 왜 이런 일을 일으킨 것일까?
The Deception of the Novelist revolves around Justin’s character as a famous novelist who receives a large inheritance after his father’s passing. He rents out one of his inherited properties to a Japanese/Chinese woman named Elaine and they embark on an affair, causing rifts in his marriage with Jeanna Ho. One night, Elaine is suddenly found dead in the balcony of the house. When police start their investigation, they realize that there are a lot of suspicious factors to the case leading them to suspect that this is not their normal kidnapping or revenge against an unfaithful husband case.
The film tells the story of five urban women with different personalities who support each other through various social problems such as the emotional confusion of contemporary men and women, the internal embarrassment of the girlfriends group and the plight of working women.
Suitcases of cash fall out of an armored car onto the busy streets, and people go crazy picking it up! Typical loner Jay Kwan (Sing Lam) and his buddy Ang Ray (Neo Yau) are both witnesses, and they're curious about the incident. They then call up a 'search team' on Golden Forum to look into it. Golden Forum Goddess (Larine Tang) is attracted, and joins them. Policewoman Nancy O (Stephy Tang), the money-minded girl Mandy O (Grace Chan)'s sister, is the only one there to guard the money that day even if she's off duty, and is regarded as a heroine! She's therefore asked to join the investigation to the case. Police believe that it's an accident, and it's difficult to get all the money back, so the investigation should stop. But as the 'search team' keep digging, they realize that there's more than meets the eye...
비밀 특수 요원 미스터 찬은 특별 임무 수행에 실패하여 에이전시에서 해고당한다. 이후 파트너와 함께 사립 에이전시를 운영하다 과거 연인이자 현재는 경찰 보안국장인 흥을 만나게 되고, 국장의 의뢰로 인해 줄줄이 이어지는 유명인사 사건들을 맡으면서 하도젠이라는 약을 조사하게 된다. 이 약을 시중에 풀려는 무리와 그에 맞서 싸우는 미스터 찬의 이야기가 지금부터 펼쳐진다.
