Lam Fei Hong (Bill Tung) goes through with his emigration plans and meets up with his son Michael (Lui Fong) in Canada. On the plane and subsequently when having landed, Uncle Lam makes sure Wong Yim-Chao (Ng Suet-Man) gets home safely to her Auntie Wong (Wong Wan-Si) but she believes someone has kidnapped Wong as she wasn't present at the airport. This triggers love/hate relationships but a tale between father and son where both have to find the one to settle down with. And they've just met them in actuality...

A young man wants to be a Hong Kong police officer but is too short to qualify. However, he doesn't let that stop him: he goes around impersonating an officer, investigating crimes and busting criminals. One day, he interrupts a bank robbery (by three men in drag), gets shot in the process and dies. When the case is assigned to a female investigator, he returns as a ghost to lend a hand at solving the robbery.

일미도인은 촌장의 의뢰를 받아 마을의 풍수를 살펴보다 수원을 찾으러 올라가던 중 많은 박쥐를 발견하게 된다. 이를 수상히 여겨 주변 성당을 수색하지만, 아무것도 발견하지 못하자 새 수원을 찾아 우물을 파라고 지시한다. 하지만 박쥐 때문에 우물을 팔 위치가 바뀌게 되어 미라를 건져 올리게 되고, 고위경찰은 시체에 꽂힌 십자가 말뚝의 보석을 빼내다 부상을 당하고 피를 흘린다. 미라는 고위경찰의 피를 머금고 뱀파이어로 다시 부활하게 되고, 마을은 위험에 처하게 되는데...

마지막 잔돈을 털어 행운의 장미 한 송이를 산 시골총각 ‘곽진화’는 우연히 조직들의 싸움에 말려들어 얼떨결에 조직의 두목으로 추대된다. 그러던 어느 날 자신에게 장미를 판 여인의 딱한 사정을 듣게 된다. 장미여인에게는 상해에서 대학에 다니는 딸이 있는데, 그곳에서 갑부의 아들과 만나 결혼을 약속하고 홍콩으로 상견례를 오기로 했다는 것. 하지만 그에 비해 너무나도 가난한 자신의 처지가 딸에게 피해를 줄까 우려하여 몸져누운 장미여인의 모정에 감동한 ‘곽진화’는 그녀를 일류 호텔로 데려가 귀부인으로 둔갑 시킨다. 드디어 상견례가 있는 날, 모든 것이 순조롭게 진행되는 듯 하지만 곧 조직간의 싸움과 형사의 방해작전으로 모든 계획이 수포로 돌아갈 위기에 놓이는데…

명숙은 귀신인 대보, 세보 형제를 데리고 다니면서 돈벌이를 하던 중 어느 마을에서 마적으로 오인 받아 붙잡히지만 구숙의 도움으로 풀려난단. 하지만 곧 대보와 세보 형제가 구숙에 의해 술독에 갇히게 되고 우여곡절 끝에 두 형제를 구하게 되고 명숙은 그들에게 각자의 길을 가자고 이야기 한다. 명숙 곁을 떠돌던 대보가 그만 마적의 두목에게 끌려가 버리고 마적을 불태우려 했던 구숙의 부하들은 혼이 씌어 구숙을 공격하게 된다. 결국 과 명숙은 힘을 합쳐 수 많은 귀신들을 상대로 싸우게 된다. 이들은 과연 목숨을 지키고 귀신들을 처치할 수 있을 것인가…

뛰어난 무술과 정의심에 가득찬 해경 소속의 마여룡(성룡 분)은 'PROJECT A'의 성공적인 임무완수로 해적들을 모두 소탕하였으나, 해적 무리들의 일부 생존자들이 해적 두목의 복수를 위해 홍콩에 잠입하게 된다. 해적들이 소탕되자 이제 홍콩에서는 내륙 치안의 문제가 발생하여 각 지역에 암흑가 조직들이 활개를 치고 경찰들의 비리가 만연하게 되어, 정부에서는 내륙치안의 안정을 위해 해경 소속 마여룡을 최대의 치안부재 지역인 '서구'의 경찰서장으로 내정한다. 서구 경찰서의 비리를 몸소 체험한 마여룡은 단 4명의 부하만을 이끌고 암흑가 최대의 조직인 구심호 일파를 체포하기 위해 '보록객잔'으로 뛰어들게 되나, 중과부적이라 수세에 몰린 마여룡은 전임대장인 해경의 지대장의 원조에 힘입어 구심호 일당을 소탕하게 된다. 마여룡의 행적에 불만을 품고 그를 없애기 위한 음모를 꾸미는 진삼환은 청국의 반기를 들고 사업을 하는 혁명군들을 속여 총독 딸의 생일 파티때 다이아 목걸이를 훔친 후 마여룡에게 누명을 씌운다. 마여룡은 자신의 누명을 풀기 위해 추적하는 과정에서 혁명군과 청국사신들과의 관계, 그리고 진삼환이 금전에 눈이 어두워 혁명군의 비밀장부를 청국에 넘기려하는 사실들을 알게 되고, 결국, 죽음을 무릅쓰고 혁명군을 도와 청국의 사신들과 매국노 진삼환을 체포하기 위한 사투를 벌인다.

사촌동생과 함께 홍콩에 밀입국하려던 항생(왕조현)은 못된 놈에게 걸려 욕을 당할 뻔한 순간, 겨우 탈출하여 홍콩에 온다. 그러나 굶주림에 마트에서 먹을 것을 훔치다가 마약범을 잡기 위해 잠복해 있던 경찰인 정방(주윤발)과 상인(여방)때문에 차에 치이는 사고를 당하게 된다. 항생은 밀입국자라는 걸 숨기기 위해 기억을 잃은 척 정방의 집에 얹혀 지내게 되지만 정방은 잘 생긴 외모 덕에 부잣집 딸인 애인 주디가 있는 상태로, 곤란한 상황에 처한다. 그러나 정방의 모친은 자신의 며느리 감으로 못된 주디보다는 싹싹하고 요리도 잘 하는 항생을 더욱 마음에 들어 하고 정방이 항생과 짝을 이루길 바란다. 항생은 홍콩에 정식으로 정착하기 위해 홍콩에서 태어났다는 출생증명서를 찾으려 하지만 병원 문제로 난항을 겪게 된다. 한편 정방은 항생과 함께 지내는 동안 점점 그녀에게 마음을 빼앗기게 되고 마침내 떠나려는 항생을 잡고 고백까지 하지만 바로 그 때 불행이 닥치는데...

Frequent Jackie Chan cohort Mars stars as Sing, an ex-con who's supposed to dig up the buried loot of his three still-jailed buddies...but when he gets to it, he finds that the treasure chest is full of rocks! The other three are convinced that Sing stole the goods for himself, so Sing decides to hide out with his kick-butt cousin Kuen, played with athletic aplomb by kung-fu princess Kara Hui! But some insurance investigators (Carina Lau and Billy Lau) are also after the loot, and there's even a mousy travel agent (future director Clarence Fok) thrown in for good measure. It all adds up to numerous shenanigans and action-comedy hijinks, culminating in a knockdown action finale set in a warehouse! Wooden crates, two-by-fours, and more props than you can name are used and abused in the name of creative eighties HK-style action, which Jackie Chan and company are only too glad to dispense to the audience!

Billy, the director of the drama was the divorced father of little Rambo. He fell in love with Mrs.Ng at the first sight. On the birthday party of Dr. Ng, Lei and Choi discovered that Danny and Macdonna were lovers. They were very disappointed. When the drama was showing, Chee misunderstood that it was real. She rushed on to the stage and accused Billy of taking her mother away. The other family members also ran onto the stage and accused Billy of destroying their family happiness......

A typical Hong Kong comedy about young inexperienced cops that get into a lot of silly antics. The film is notable for featuring Tony Leung Chiu-Wai and Anita Mui in early roles.
