Alone in a homey Japanese eatery, a schoolboy reminisces his failed attempts to woo his crush. He daydreams an elaborate dance number and band performance to redeem his image in the hopes she might reconsider.

This retrospective documentary focuses on the cast and crew reminiscing about the making of the film and its legacy. It features new interviews James Cameron, William Wisher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Patrick, Joe Morton, Edward Furlong, Brad Fiedel, Mario Kassar, Stephanie Austin, Adam Greenberg and Dennis Muren.

한 때는 잘 나가던 시나리오 작가였지만 아내가 실종된 후, 은둔 생활을 이어가던 ‘폴’(안토니오 반데라스)은 어느 날 집으로 돌아가던 길에 트럭 운전수와 시비가 붙게 되고, ‘잭’(조나단 리스 마이어스)이라는 청년의 도움으로 곤경에 벗어나게 된다. 호의를 베풀어준 ‘잭’이 갈 곳 없이 떠도는 신세임을 알게 된 ‘폴’은 그를 자신의 집에 머물게 해주지만, 곧 이 작은 호의는 앞으로 쓰여질 ‘폴’의 이야기를 점차 비극으로 이끌어가는데...
