Pollution, global warming, overpopulation. For Jean-Claude and Maddy there is only one solution: Leave Earth asking for help from aliens. But when a little green man lands to save them, things are not going to go as planned.

시리아의 IS에 합류할 계획을 세운 포스틴은 남편 실뱅이 눈치채지 못하는 사이에 다섯 살짜리 아들을 데리고 파리를 떠난다. 하지만 시리아 라카에 도착하고 얼마 지나지 않아 자신이 제 발로 찾아온 그곳이 지옥이라는 것을 깨닫는다. 자국민을 도울 수 있는 여력이 없는 프랑스 당국에 실망한 실뱅은 직접 아내와 아들을 구하기 위해 친구들과 함께 위험천만한 구출 작전을 감행한다. 실화를 기반으로 하는 작품이다.
