The Suzie in the title refers to The World Of Suzy Wong, a great novel by British author Richard Mason which was made into a terrible Hollywood movie in 1960. Like Suzy, Shu Mei goes to work in a bar in Wanchai around the late 1950s, where sailors and foreign money are plentiful. But there isn't much similarity beyond this.

Story is about a couple of girls named Ching (Lam San San) and An An (Pak Wan Yin) who have been rivals ever since they were little kids. The main gist of the story, besides trying to go one up on each other, deals with the girls’ hot pursuit of super jock, Paul (Chan Chun Kwok). Ching is the first one to gain Paul’s attention while An An is busy toying with geeky looking Michael’s (Dicky Cheung) love for her. Eventually, Paul gets tired of Ching and Michael wakes up and realizes that An An is playing him and to rub salt in their wounds, Paul decides that An An is the one for him! Next thing you, kiddy hijinks ensue as Michael and Ching feign suicide to make Paul and An An feel guilty, but when the latter believes that the suicide is for real, they too (half heartedly) decide to take their own lives. Michael and Ching must rush to save them from death, but during the whole near explosive melee, they come to the conclusion that they were made for each other.

The lead, arrested and processed after a police raid on a Canal St. clothing workshop. He has no status in HK, where he'd swam, or the US, where he arrived as a stowaway, to avoid metal detectors which would pick up the bullets still in his body.

Journey of the Doomed stars Tung Wei as a knight that finds himself protecting the life of a beautiful young lady being stalked by a bunch of assassins headed by kung-fu actress extraordinaire Hui Ying-hung. Tung Wei was the kid that Bruce Lee slaps on the head at the beginning of Enter The Dragon. He went on to kung-fu stardom before becoming a highly successful fight director for Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

1930년대 전쟁기의 중국을 배경으로 한 러브 스토리. 1979년 데뷔작 "풍겁"으로 홍콩 뉴 웨이브 대표주자로 떠오른 허안화 감독이 연출을 맡았으며, 주윤발과 미스 홍콩 출신의 무건인이 주연을 맡았다. 대만 금마장과 홍콩 금상장 시상식에서 각각 의상과 음악상을 수상한 작품이다. 20세기 중국최고의 여류소설가로 일컬어지는 장애령 원작의 "경성지연"은 1930년대 일본의 침략으로 혼란에 빠진 상해와 홍콩을 배경으로 애틋한 사랑을 이뤄가는 두 남녀의 이야기를 그렸다.

Tou Kuan, a spoiled affluent kid, travels with pal Mai Song to Beijing to challenge 3 Masters to improve Kuan's status. Along the way, they contend with inept assassins hired by Kuan's uncle, who wants the family business and fortune.

Chen Li is the son of an enormously wealthy Hong Kong businessman and is vacationing in Hawaii, experiencing typical girl problems. His lothario friend Lolanto flies in from Hong Kong and is determined to find Chen Li a girl within a few days. After a series of hijinks, Chen Li and Lolanto are back in Hong Kong and investigating high-level embezzling in Chen's father's corporation. It also turns out that Kitty and May are employed there as well, with Kitty being the secretary of the supposed embezzler. Because Chen has been notoriously inconspicuous and no one knows what he looks like, he is able to assume to role of a limousine driver for Lolanto, who takes on the persona of Chen Li himself. While tracking down the corruption, Lolanto and Chen also are trying to win the hearts of the two women, but are they looking for true love or only money?

대협 운비양(서소강 분)은 천하무적이 된 후 강호에 싫증을 느껴 은거하는데 우연한 기회에 육단과 소자를 만나게 된다. 육단은 본디 조정 충신의 후예인데 환관 유근의 모함으로 일가족이 피살되자 성격이 거칠게 변한다. 게다가 애인, 패패가 오라버니에 의해 강제로 입궐되어 왕비가 되자 천잠마공을 익혀 정덕황제에게 복수하려 한다. 한편 도둑인 소자는 잔꾀가 많고 정의감이 넘치는 젊은이로서 우연한 기회에 천잠신공을 익히게 된다. 나중에 운비양과소자는 모왕-륭고의 암습을 당해 중상을 입게 되는데 운비양은 애인 - 당녕의 희생으로 목숨을 건지게 되지만 삶의 의욕을 잃고 자신의 공력을 모두 소자에게 주입시켜 준다. 소자는 죽음의 문턱에서 천잠재변을 얻어 공력을 더욱 크게 증진된다. 육단은 마공을 터득한 후 더욱 사악하게 변해 황위까지 차지하려 하고 소자와 생사일전을 벌인다. 결전을 앞두고 승리를 쟁취하기 위해 그는 소자의 애인 주청조를 가해한다. 소자는 8할의 공력으로서 주청조의 목숨을 구하지만 결전이 벌어지면 영락없이 죽게 될 것이다. 헌데 천잠신공이 뜻밖에도 또다시 변화를 일으켜 소자는 한순간에 최고의 경지에 도달하게 되는데...

Fu Sheng plays Sheng, a playboy who has all the latest cars and technology along with all the tricks for courting the ladies. 광동에서 도둑질을 하며 소일을 하는 허군보는 우연히 관부의 보물을 턴 강도들을 혼내주고 그 보물로 해상술집에서 거부 보석상행세를 하며 기생들과 유희를 즐긴다. 이때 반대편에서 북경에서 온 보석상인 왕천명이라는 사람과 자존심대결을 하게 되고 급기야 왕천명에게 싸움을 건다. 이 소동으로 관군이 몰려오는데 왕천명이 증명서를 보이자 관군은 쩔쩔매는데, 왕천명의 신분은 바로 11왕야이다. 그는 명주와 골동품 그리고 무공을 좋아해 자주 변복을 하고 유람하는 것을 좋아하는 사람이다. 허군보는 왕천명의 신분을 모른 채 자신이 도둑질한 보물을 찾으려고 애쓰다가 무공을 숨긴 왕천명이 기생인 소홍 (혜영홍)을 이용해 허군보를 굴복시키고 심지어 허군보를 제자로 삼는다. 이때 황권을 노린 4황자는 자객을 보내 11황자를 죽이려하고, 11황자도 큰 부상을 입는다. 허군보가 진심으로 간호하자 감동한 11황자는 그에게 무영각을 전수해주고 허군보의 수행 하에 황궁으로 향한다.

강풍이라는 희대의 미남 무사가 이화궁(梨花宮)에 머물다가 두 궁주(宮主)의 사랑을 받지만, 그는 비인간적으로 냉철한 그 둘 대신 시중들던 시녀 화월노(花月奴)와 눈이 맞아 도망친다. 하지만 두 궁주의 사주를 받은 십이성상이라는 악당들에 의해 둘은 죽임을 당하고 십이성상은 이화궁주 중 동생에 의해 죽는다. 그 때 화월노는 쌍둥이를 낳고 죽게 된다. 이화궁주 요월은 자신들을 배신한 강풍과 화월노에게 복수하기 위해 두 아이들을 따로 떼어 먼저 태어난 아기는 자신들이 데려가고, 한 아이는 남겨놓아 연남천이 데려가게 한다. 이는 두 아이가 성장한 후에 서로 싸우게 해서 강풍과 화월노가 저승에서도 그 광경을 보고 고통 받게 하기 위해서이다. 두 쌍둥이 중 한 명은 강소어라는 이름을 받고 악인곡에서 희대의 지략과 무술을 갖추고 성장하게 되고, 다른 한 명은 이화궁에서 화무결이라는 이름을 받고 천하에서 손꼽히는 고수가 되는데….

Julie Yeh Feng stars as Hsiu Hsiu, a beautiful singing shepherdess who falls head over heels in love with a handsome boatman named Liu Ta Lung. Unfortunately, she can't afford to marry her new beau because her father has racked up numerous debts due to his uncontrollable gambling addiction. And to make matters even more complicated, there's a rival suitor who promises to pay off all of her no-good father's debts on the condition that he is given Hsiu Hsiu's hand in marriage. She initially declines his offer, but starts to get jealous when she sees Ta Lung getting a little too close for comfort with another woman. In retaliation, she starts flirting with her possible benefactor/husband-to-be.
