한창때인 고등학생들은 가톨릭 고등학교에서 순수하고 정직하며 성적으로도 올곧게 자라라고 강요받는다. 하지만 위선적이게도 그들이 마주하게 될 현실은 사실 그렇지 않다는 것을 알고 있는 시기를 보낸다. 공연 도중 생리적인 실수를 한 친구, 불량스러운 친구들과도 어울릴 수밖에 없는 상황, 자신의 남성성을 증명하고자 하는 소년 등 여러 크고 작은 사건 사고들을 흑백으로 촬영한 3만 장의 원본에 하나하나 부분적으로 색을 입힌 후 스톱모션 기법으로 연출했다.
