Two brothers reunite at their father’s funeral after many years apart. Between bitterness from the past and forgotten affection they will embark on a trip onboard their motorbikes which they built when they were children.

언뜻 대조적으로 보이는 두 가족의 이야기를 통해 현대 이탈리아 사회를 풍자하는 코미디. 파보네 가족과 비스마라 가족은 같은 로마에 살고 있지만 매우 다른 삶을 살고 있다. 파보네 가족은 소위 ‘지식인’으로서 부유한 삶을 누리고 있고, 노동자 계급인 비스마라 가족은 극우에 가까운 정치적 입장을 갖고 있다. 그러던 어느 날 작은 계기로 두 가족이 엮이게 되며 이들이 숨기고 있던 각자의 비밀이 드러나기 시작한다.

포르투나는 결혼에 실패하고 8살 딸과 힘들게 살고 있는 주부이다. 부유층 집 으로 방문하여 머리를 손질하는 일을 하고 있다. 그녀는 자신의 꿈을 이루기 위해 힘든 상황을 버티고 있다. 꿈을 이루기 위해서는 안정되어야 한다는 것을 잘 알고 미용실을 개업하고 운명에 맞서지만, 사랑 앞에서는 무너지게 된다.
