티나는 고향에서 상경해 투룸 아파트에 입주한다. 방 한 칸을 내준 메기는 영어를 잘하고, 파티를 좋아하고, “이놈의 나라 내가 떠나고 만다”고 매일 다짐한다. 하지만 이곳에서 잠시 머무른 후 남자친구와 동거할 예정이었던 티나의 계획이 어그러지고, 메기가 학수고대하는 미국 비자는 금방 나오지 않는다. 단순히 같은 공간을 점유하던 두 사람은 이제 서로의 비밀을 공유하는 친구가 된다.

Keti (36) and her son Nika (16) find themselves in a precarious situation when Nika hits an old man in a car accident. The victim’s family promises to refrain from pressing charges against Nika if he compensates their loss in cash. Within a single day Keti has to raise a large amount of money to prevent her son Nika from being imprisoned. An unexpected turn gives the drama a tragicomical air.
