음악가 삐에르 폴데스의 첫 애니메이션. 무라카미 하루키의 여러 단편을 각색한 작품이다. 하루키의 소설에서 자주 나타나는 설정처럼 여자들은 다른 차원에 이끌려 사라지고, 남자들은 신비한 고양이들의 인도를 받으며 사람처럼 말하는 거대한 개구리와 같은 가상의 존재를 만난다.
