After an eviction notice, a mother teaches her three children, that even in adversity, they must always look forward. She starts up a restaurant business, but it does not work. Then Magdalena has another idea: to make a film.

The tale of a group of women (a sweet old lady, her religious niece, her servant and the latter's disabled mother), all so generous and selfless that they almost compete with one another as ferocious rivals to see who can help most and make the greatest sacrifice for the others' wellbeing. And we all know the well-known saying: 'The road to hell is paved with good intentions'.

로라, 카를로스 부부와 아들 시몬은 과거 고아원이었던 대저택으로 이사를 온다. 이 고아원에서 어린시절을 보낸 로라는 병에 걸린 시몬의 건강을 돌보기 위해 외딴 바닷가에 위치한 이곳을 고집했다. 하지만 이사온지 얼마 안돼서 시몬은 이 집에 친구들이 있다며 놀러 다닌다. 더구나 친구들로부터 자신은 입양된 아이고, 곧 죽을 것이라고 들었다며 괴로워한다. 로라는 출생의 비밀을 알아버린 시몬에게 놀라워하지만, 친구들이 있다는 소리는 말도 안 되는 아이의 장난으로 여긴다. 그러던 어느 날, 시몬의 기분 전환을 위해 동네 사람들과 파티를 열게 되는데 그 파티에서 시몬은 사라지고 만다. 시간은 점점 흐르고, 모두가 시몬이 죽었다고 생각하는 가운데 로라는 시몬이 말했던 보이지 않는 친구들의 존재가 자신의 과거와 모종의 관계가 있음을 깨닫게 되는데…

Two speleologists, Esteban and Pedro, travel to a mountainous area located in northern Spain, near a small village, to study a newly discovered cave and determine if it is of scientific interest, while Gabi, Esteban's wife, awaits their return on a lonely road at the foot of the mountain.

Are these dreams always going to be 20 centimeters out of reach?

폭풍우가 내리치는 밤. 피 묻은 어머니의 시신 옆에 쇼크 상태에 빠진 소녀가 발견된다. 젊고 아름다운 정신과의사 베아트리체는 최면요법으로 유명한 한 요양소에 일자리를 얻게 된다. 마을과 한참 외떨어진 이 요양소에서 가장 먼저 그녀의 눈에 들어온 환자는 바로 폭풍우가 있던 밤의 그 소녀. 베아트리체는 그녀를 돕고 싶었지만 어느 날 소녀가 자살한 시체로 발견되면서 소망은 사라진다. 한편 기억상실증으로 고통 받는 환자 미구엘은 치료 중 소녀가 자살한 것이 아니며 그녀 자신도 조심하라는 말을 전하는데, 의심에 찬 베아트리체는 이 요양소에서 많은 사람들이 자살했던 사실을 알게 된다. 미구엘을 상담 치료하던 중 급격히 불안정해진 베아트리체의 심리는 환상과 현실이 뒤섞이면서 더욱더 혼란으로 빠져 들어가고...

Miguel, a young psychiatrist working in Madrid, learns that his wife has just dumped him for no one else than his own father while he's expecting his mother-in-law's visit, who's come to the city on a medical revision, and doesn't know anything about her daughter's affair; to make things worse, one of Miguel's deranged patients has just stolen his wallet. Going to his patient's home to retrieve his wallet he'll meet instead his spontaneous and outspoken hairdresser sister Jasmina, who's bound to change Miguel's ordered, upper-middle-class world for good.

Suspected of murder, fifteen year-old Ramón Fortuna is held in a detention centre. He feels as if he has woken from a dream, a dream lived in Vallecas, a working-class neighborhood in Madrid. His childhood is over. His mother and sister have dedicated their lives to him; now, although convinced of his innocence, they are powerless. His lawyer Marcelo - another son of El Barrio - is reluctant to take the case, happier to sever all ties with his secret past and a love long lost.

The usually absent father of a chubby kid shows up to take him on a road trip.

The story is about a couple that sets out for a dinner party on the millennium eve. The woman is pregnant, the guy has no money and no car and has borrowed one from a friend of his. The car of course is not exactly top class and crashes down after few miles. And that's where the film really starts. The couple start fighting and trying to find a way to the parents' house before midnight, hitchhiking on the way and getting into several cars and get themselves involved in the funniest situations.
