하나님은 이스라엘 민족을 탄압에서 구하기 위해 사울을 보내지만, 마음이 약해진 사울은 악령에 들린다. 결국 그를 대신해 왕으로 보내진 다윗. 이스라엘을 탄압하는 블레셋의 장수 골리앗을 죽인 다윗이 이스라엘 민족에게 신임을 얻게 되자 사울은 질투에 못이겨 그를 죽이려 한다. 전투에서 사울이 목숨을 잃고 다윗은 결국 이스라엘 민족의 왕이 된다. 하지만 다른 사람의 아내를 빼앗은 다윗은 하나님의 노여움을 사게 되는데...

이자벨은 많은 청년들로부터 구애를 받지만 자신의 무궁무진한 삶을 더 중요하게 생각하는 자아가 강한 여성이다. 피아노 연주를 하는 멜 부인에게 이끌린 이자벨은 멜 부인과 함께 이탈리아 여행을 떠나고 거기서 냉소적인 오스먼드를 만나 사랑에 빠진다. 하지만 이자벨의 돈 때문에 마음에도 없는 결혼을 한 오스먼드는 결혼 생활을 내키지 않아 한다. 또한 오스먼드는 멜 부인을 정부로 두고 있기도 한다. 결국 이자벨은 모든 사실을 알게 되고 분노에 떨지만 자신을 지켜봐 주었던 사촌 오빠가 위급하다는 소식을 듣고 남편의 반대에도 무릅쓰고 달려가는데...
A depressed writer of horror comics finds a strange artifact, a small pyramid, while cleaning up a bar. The pyramid is a sort of puzzle and once opened it spawns evil, invisible entities which silently haunts the protagonist by possessing objects in the house during the night, while he is asleep. The paranormal manifestations become more and more invasive and frequent...what's the secret behind them and the pyramid? Our hero will discover it, but he will pay a very high price for it also.
