보드 게임에 사무친 저주...지금 그 저주가 현실이 된다! 스페인의 한 바닷가로 서핑여행을 떠난 ‘제이슨’, ‘토마스’, ‘리사’. 세 친구는 그 곳에서 스페인 친구 ‘에리 카’, ‘파블로’, ‘미구엘’ 등을 만나 즐거운 시간을 보낸다. 그러던 중 우연히 들른 골동품 상점에서 ‘제이슨’ 은 상점 주인으로부터 ‘맘바’라는 오래 된 보드 게임을 선물 받게 된다. 세찬 소나기가 내려 해변에 나가 기 어렵게 된 7명의 친구들은 숙소에 모여 ‘제이슨’이 선물 받은 보드 게임을 해보기로 한다. “패자는 모 든 것을 잃을 것이요. 승자는 모든 것을 얻게 될 것이다.”라는 단서가 달린 이 게임이 왠지 찜찜하지만 이 내 주사위는 던져지고 게임은 시작된다. 친구들 중 게임에서 가장 먼저 패한 ‘파블로’가 맥주를 사오겠다 며 차를 끌고 나간 후 돌아 오지 않자 친구들은 불안해지기 시작하고, 곧이어 경찰로부터 ‘파블로’의 사망 소식을 전해 들은 친구들은 그의 사인이 그가 게임에서 뽑았던 카드의 내용과 일치한다는 사실에 경악하 게 되는데...
