It all started in July 2018. Groups of migrants coming from Africa endeavouring to cross the border with France started arriving at Irun train station. They would sleep in the street. The charities working in the town succeeded in convincing the squatters’ movements to take a hand in the matter by letting them use their places. The wave of generosity spread to the people of Irun.

The street, at the same time a magical and hard place. Songs and music flourish in the middle of the asphalt, sometimes soft, sometimes torn. Everyone finds the most unique setting in their shelter. A city, San Sebastián, that evolves through the musicians who play in its streets.

The ancient Greeks used as a support for their writings wooden frames on which they poured liquid wax. When solidifying, it formed a flat surface capable of being engraved by means of a punch. These tablets were called 'tabulas', and when they had not yet been used they were 'tabula rasa', blank sheets.
