A naked boy surveys the scene. An orange, a loaf of bread, a clock. A pair of hands, a cigarette, and a cloud of smoke. A series of nested dolls, at the center is a private ritual. The room becomes the bread, the bread becomes the boy, and the orange takes on a life of its own. The clock keeps time. - Eyeworks Festival
Gaffer
Tom has faced many rivals in his ten-year career as a jump Jockey. Some have been faster, stronger, younger, wiser; but now he faces a different rival. A silent and anonymous opponent who is struggling to understand. The narrative is centred around the aftermath of a fall at the last fence of a race, where the horse (Habitare) would have passed the winning line in front had it not been for the fall. This film aims to show the lonelier, darker side to horse racing; the brave face that must be put on and not show weakness.

A gang of three kids, led by a mysterious, clown-faced mastermind, stage the sweetest heist of their lives on Halloween. They’ve set their sights on the local candy store, but get more than they bargained for when faced with the not-so-sweet store owner.
