Rebel Dean

A short Film Noir project directed by 17 yr old media student, Taijan Dean starring Rebel and Sarah Dean. The Gilded Cage features a hard-boiled Private Investigator on the case to find some information for his confidential client, however, the case ultimately takes him to a grand and luxurious mansion where he finds himself face to face with the mysterious, femme fatale - wife of the mansion's owner. As their interview plays out, he soon finds there's a very dark game at play and that even the prettiest birds get tired of their Gilded Cages.

A short film set in the late 70's centered around the Peoples Temple and the massacre of Jonestown. Portraying the emotional struggle of Andrew, Jim Jones' right hand man as he is torn between his loyalty to the cult leader and saving an innocent woman and her child's life. This plays out over the course of a few hours in the town meeting hall as Jones is giving a speech to the people.

College boy Taylor has his first flying lesson. He's not impressed with his tutor Henry, who seems to have the values and attitudes of a 1930's aviator. The duo soon find themselves in all kinds of trouble though when Henry's famed past lands them as unwilling contestants on a sadistic game show. They escape through cunning and skill, which ends in a climactic and spectacular space battle. Upon watching Henry really fly his ship, Taylor begins to have a new founded respect for him.

Joe is lonely and broke and his TV doesn’t work and he doesn’t get on with his bros at the factory because he’s a sociopath. Joe interviews for a new job at a nursing home, where he encounters his mother and unexpected forgiveness for past wrongs. This dark comedy features a central performance by UK sensation Rebel Dean that feels like Yahoo Serious doing Bruno S doing Stanley Spadowski doing Cap'n Jack Sparrow while dressed like Benicio del Toro in THE PLEDGE.
