Zheng Shuhuan

Based on Pu Songling's fairy tale. Beijing official Chang Zaitian has not been to his native Luzhi Village for seven years. After an unexpected return, Chang is horrified to learn that his beloved girlfriend was killed by robbers shortly after his departure for capital exams. Suffering from a broken heart Chang meets the next day a girl named Ah Yu who looks the same as Miss Cao in his old house. During the short time they spend together Chang Zaitian feels that she is the shadow of Miss Cao. At the same time, strange things keep happening in the village, and the sorcerer, Taoist Sang, keeps saying that the village is haunted by evil spirits.

촉산의 제자 '주검'은 대사부 '무극'의 선택을 받고 검성이 될 준비를 한다. 하지만 부활한 악인 염중천에 의해 '무극'은 위기에 처하게 되고 '주검'은 만검귀종을 완성하기 위해 검심을 찾아 홀로 팔사곡으로 떠난다. 한편 촉산의 또 다른 제자 '성천랑'은 어지러운 틈을 타 장문의 자리를 노리고 '주검'은 팔사곡 곡주 '묵이가'의 도움으로 검성이 되기 위한 수련을 시작한다.
