Taek-yi Jeon

A young man is in love with a waitress, but his father opposes their relationship. The father approaches the waitress telling her that if she truly loved his son, she would abandon him. She submits to the father's wish, though she is dying from tuberculosis.

After the woman who nearly killed her is brought to trial, Eun-hie finds that she must take the stand to give evidence. However, the defense attempts to turn the tables on her by revealing her sordid past and trying to make it seem as if she deserved what happened to her.

봉수는 순박한 농사꾼이다. 하지만 아무리 농사를 열심히 지어도 상황은 나아질 줄 모르고, 돈이 없어 딸 순이의 혼인까지 미루고 있다. 군대를 제대하고 마을로 돌아온 아들 영호는 옥경이와 사랑하는 사이이다. 옥경은 봉수의 집에서 자라서, 억조의 부인 술집에서 장사를 돕고 있다. 가난에 지친 봉수는 사채꾼 억조의 꾀임에 넘어가, 돈을 벌고자 소를 팔아 구제품 장사에 뛰어들지만, 서울에서 만난 사기꾼 일당에게 돈을 털리고 만다. 어느 밤 봉수는 억조가 옥경을 강간하려는 와중에 흘린 돈을 주워 가지려고 하다가, 억조와 싸움을 벌이게 되고 얼떨결에 그를 죽이고 만다. 옥경은 억조의 돈을 주워 일부를 영호에게 주고, 둘은 서울로 떠나려 한다. 하지만 억조 살해사건을 조사하는 경찰에게 붙들려 조사를 받고, 경찰들은 옥경과 영호가 살인범임을 확신하고 기차에 태워 본서로 압송한다. 봉수는 떠나는 기차를 쫓아가며 자신을 잡아가라고 외친다.

1945년 8월 서울. 독립운동을 하다 일제의 앞잡이 남부의 배반으로 체포되어 감옥에 있던 한중은 탈출에 성공하여 대학병원 간호부 혜자의 집으로 숨어든다. 한중의 지하조직은 예정대로 무장봉기를 일으키기 위해 준비하던 중 박이 다이너마이트를 가지고 오다 일본 헌병에 잡히고, 한중은 박을 구출하고 남부의 애인인 미향의 아파트로 피신한다. 한중을 숨겨준 미향은 그에게 매료되어 한중의 지하조직이 있는 지하실로 찾아가 정보와 자금을 전달한다. 그 뒤를 밟은 남부와 현병들에 의해 미향은 총에 맞아 죽고, 한중은 총상으로 대학병원으로 옮겨진다. 한중을 사모하던 혜자는 헌병이 잠든 틈을 타 그를 탈출시킨다.

After facing hard times, an orphan Korean boy gets adopted to Japanese society. He meets several Japanese people who are kind to him, and grows up wanting to repay his debt to Japan, by becoming a kamikaze pilot.

조만 국경인 만포진에는 국경 경비대가 주둔하고 있는데 해마다 겨울이 되면 마적들이 경비대를 습격하곤 하였다. 어느날 밤 마적단의 한 청년이 만포진에 살고 있던 가족들을 살리려고 습격 전에 가족들을 대피시키려고 하였다. 그러나 아버지는 피하기를 거부하고 오히려 그 사실을 경비대에 신고한다. 마적떼와 경비대 사이에 전투가 벌어지고 경비대가 위기에 몰리는 순간, 출동한 지원병력이 마적들을 전멸시킨다.

영화 춘향전을 만들던 중 이영일에게 친구의 동생이자 영화배우 지망생인 김정희가 찾아온다. 영일은 영화에 마땅한 자리가 없어 정희를 음반회사에 소개시켜주고 돌봐준다. 춘향전의 여주인공 안나는 영일에게 호감을 보이지만 정작 영일은 그녀에게 관심이 없고, 안나의 애인이자 뒤를 봐주던 음반회사의 문예부장 한계수 역시 정희에게 관심을 보인다. 한편 영일과 함께 영화 춘향전을 촬영하던 감독 허훈은 안나가 말썽을 부리자 다툼 끝에 그녀를 내치고, 대신 정희를 춘향으로 기용한다. 정희의 투입으로 촬영이 순조롭게 진행되던 즈음, 영일과 허훈은 제작비 부족으로 곤란을 겪게 되고, 영일은 공금에 손을 대고 감옥에 갇힌다. 정희는 영일의 면회를 가지만 만나지 못한다. 영일이 안나의 도움으로 이미 풀려나왔기 때문이다. 수감 생활로 심신이 허약해진 영일은 안나의 극진한 간호를 받아 건강을 회복한다. 그 사이에 영화인들의 의기투합으로 반도영화주식회사가 설립되고, 회사의 든든한 지원으로 춘향전이 완성되어 대성공을 거둔다. 춘향전 개봉을 축하하기 위해 영일이 돌아오지만, 내심 영일의 행방을 걱정했던 정희는 그의 옆에 안나가 있는 것을 야속해하며 쓰러진다. 이후 정희는 영일에 대한 오해를 풀고, 둘은 동료들의 배웅을 받으며 일본영화계 시찰을 위해 기차에 몸을 싣는다.

One day, an awful electrician Ba-woo tried to rape Soon-yi in a dark place. But, Dol-soi rescued her. As usual, Soon-yi loved Eun-ki. Frustrated Dol-soi left the town alone.

To resolve the conflict between the Korean and Manchu border villages, the Korean protagonist sets fire to the Korean village and forces the Koreans and Manchus to put out the fire together.

경성일보의 경일소학생신문사의 작문공모에서 조선총독상을 받은 소학교 4학년 어린이의 수기를 영화로 만든 작품이다. 부모가 놋수저 행상을 떠나고 할머니는 병들어 누워있는 어느 가정의 한 소년이 수업료때문에 갖은 고생을 다하는데 다행히 고모의 도움으로 수업료를 준비하게 되었고,마침 학급에서도 우정함 모금을 하기로 하였다. 더욱 기쁜 일은 보모가 며칠후에 돌아와서 다음부터는 꼭 수업료를 마련해 주겠다고 약속한 것이다.
