The man is a murderer who kills people in exchange for the Water of Life given to him. He takes pictures of certain people in certain places and times and steals the lives of the people he photographed by imprisoning them in photographic film. In the brutality and monotony of his work, he has lost all his human qualities over time and leads a callous life. One day, when an ordinary young woman confronts him with a similar target, he begins to take things slow. When the young woman notices him and smiles, he cannot do the professional routine he is used to. He then begins to study the people around him, imitating their breathing, movements, and expressions. As man begins to rediscover his emotions, he will have to choose between the woman's life and his own.
