노비타는 공룡 박람회의 화석 발굴 체험에서 발견한 화석을 공룡알이라고 굳게 믿는다. 도라에몽의 비밀도구 '타임보자기'로 화석을 원래 상태로 되돌리자 지금껏 알려지지 않은 새로운 종의 쌍둥이 공룡이 태어난다. 노비타를 닮아서 조금 믿음직스럽지 못한 큐와 말괄량이 뮤. 노비타는 개성의 차이로 고생하지만 부모처럼 사랑과 애정을 듬뿍 주며 키운다. 하지만 결국 큐와 뮤가 현재 시대에서 살아가기에는 한계가 오고 만다. 큐와 뮤를 원래의 시대로 데려다주기로 결심한 노비타는 도라에몽, 친구들과 6600만년 전으로 출발하고 큐와 뮤의 친구 공룡들을 찾는 여정을 시작한다. 도라에몽의 비밀도구와 공룡들의 힘을 빌려 공룡의 발자국을 따라간 노비타 일행이 도착한 곳은 신비의 섬. 공룡이 멸종했다고 알려진 백악기에서 큐와 뮤 그리고 노비타 일행에게 기다리고 있는 운명은!?

A girl comes there to become a dentist of dragon. She is with other new freshman applicants, but there is no announcement from a senior as a guidance. They are confused and taken along with the senior. The only way is just to walk through freshman's path, which is dark and strange. They do not know where they are. Not knowing what to do, she is approaching to the secret of dragon, but she does not realize yet. The adventure has already begun.

One year ago, Yūta lost his father from a car accident. Now in the 6th grade, Yūta goes to catch a beetle at a dam on a deep mountain. Yūta often went there with his father. There, Yūta meets a strange old man. Due to heavy rain, Yūta slips and falls down a bridge. He becomes unconscious. When Yūta awakes, he sees a child, Saeko, in front of him. Saeko takes Yūta to a village that looks like something that existed 30 years ago. Yūta has the feeling that he went into the past. He also meets Kenzō, who is the same age as Yūta. They promise to go catch a bug the following day. Saeko then takes Yūta to an old house. An old woman there treats Yūta like a cousin. Yūta doesn't know what is going on. At night, the strange old man he met earlier appears and tells Yūta that he will belong to this time period for a month. A precious summer vacation for Yūta begins.
