A little girl who lives with her mother in Tehran discovers that the sheep in her neighbours’ backyard are being sacrificed in a traditional ritual. She decides to save as many sheep as she can.

In an Iran weighed down by a struggling economy, two middle-aged brothers live with their bullying father. A man prone to rages and driven by chauvinism, the father’s abusiveness found his second wife leaving him. Now he picks on his eldest son, while the younger sibling fantasises about ways to kill his father. When the man rents out the flat above to a young woman, with intentions of marrying her, the woman’s attraction to the older son slowly pushes this profoundly damaged family to breaking point.

시력을 잃어가는 남자가 혼자 사는 아파트에서 자살을 시도한다. 갑자기 경찰이 집에 찾아오면서 그의 자살 시도는 실패하고 경찰은 도망친 여자를 찾고 있다고 말한다. 경찰에 쫓기는 여자가 남자의 집에 숨어들면서 영화는 긴장감을 더해간다. 여자는 왜 쫓기고 있는가? 남자는 그녀를 숨기는데 성공할 것인가?

보수적 남편과 결혼해 만족스럽지 못한 삶을 사는 여자가 있다. 여동생만은 자신처럼 불행한 결혼을 하지 않기를 바라기에, 그녀가 꼭 대학에 진학하기를 희망한다. 여동생의 대학 진학을 위해 뭐든 할 각오가 된 여자는 조직적인 부정행위에 개입하게된다. 하지만 시험 보러 가는 여동생에게 부정행위의 요령만 알려주면 끝날 줄 알았던 사건은 점점 악화된다. (제26회 부산국제영화제)
