비즈니스 마켓을 이끌며 인정받는 전문직 여성 로사는 밀려드는 일 속에서 할아버지와 점점 멀어져가던 중 할아버지의 죽음에 자신의 삶에 의문을 품게 된다. 로사는 할아버지와 함께 살았던 장소와 어린 시절의 추억을 찾아 도시를 떠나기로 결심한다. 그렇게 로사는 할아버지가 남겨준 버려진 땅과 폐허에 가까운 어린 시절의 집을 발견하고, 새로운 목표를 찾아 다시 집을 짓고 밭을 가꾸기 시작한다. 그러나 로사는 혼자서 이 도전에 나선 것이 아니다.
