Edvard Munch was one of the most important artists in the period between the 19th and 20th centuries. His motif Skrik (The Scream), repeated in several techniques, became part of the 20th-century world subconsciousness – an image of fear and loneliness most people probably know, even if they have no idea who created it.

When Tyra returns to visit her family, on the 20th anniversary of her beloved father’s death, everything changes when her Dad comes knocking on the door that same evening - forcing the family to examine what grief has done to them.

A young man arrives at an old mansion to visit the upper-class family living there. He is a stranger with a sinister reason about to make itself clear. They are not expecting this knock on their door. This is a most unwelcome visit, but it may turn out that the family have more issues among themselves than what the stranger is about to bring.

A mother reports her student daughter Lisa missing, but detective Aslak Eira is getting too little information, and she is found in a lake. The more they investigate, the less they seem to understand. Then Lisa's best friend goes missing too.

The year is 2023. Norway is slowly recovering after a period of war and terror. Sven is slowly recovering from the loss of his girlfriend Eva. But as the society slowly moves on, Sven cannot cope with the future. He dissociates himself from the world, and he has changed his behavior. He is regarded as a threat by the authorities, and they insert a parasite in his brain. The parasite will delete his memories of Eva.

Jakob is an immigration legislative. He changes girlfriends like he changes socks and is less than responsible when it comes to being there for his family. But all this changes when he meets the charming doctor Nina. Now he must decide if he will give up his carefree, superficial lifestyle to be with the woman he loves.

A movie inspired by eight Norwegian political parties, written by six writers and directed by nine directors: a man gets a nasty surprise skinny dipping, a cow eats a cell phone, a lesbian couple loses a child, a blind girl sells dubious lottery tickets, a boy falls in love, a man picks up a hitchhiker, three girls get help from a man in pajamas, and nine old men find a young girl stuck in a swamp.

Little Oddemann uses every means available to find Jesus, including his slingshot. The film takes us to Norway in the late '30s, where we meet a series of burlesque and humorous characters, whose antics convince Oddemann that growing up may be a bad idea. Yet Oddemann finds there are certain rewards to being grown-up, such as partying and chasing women, that merit closer examination.

Adapted from a novel by Norway's justice minister Anne Holt. Lesbian policewoman Hanne Wilhelmsen (Kjersti Elvik), who has a live-in lover, tools about Oslo on her Harley-Davidson. After a number of women vanish, police find blood but no bodies, and Wilhelmsen begins a search for the suspected serial killer.

On a day in April 1996, four stories play out in the confines of a flat in the heart of Oslo.
