Austin Ramey is a writer, director, and producer based in Pasadena, California. Born and raised in San Diego, he began his filmmaking career making stop-motion short films. Eventually, he joined a local cinema conservatory, where he showcased his work at several festivals, including the LA Film Festival. Since then, he's been studying film at ArtCenter College of Design. He's ambitious, friendly, a hard worker, and creative. He takes inspiration from the work of Guillermo Del Toro, Mike Flanagan, Henry Selik, Barry Jenkins, and Amy Heckerling. He strives to tell the best story possible with a focus on memorable characters and emotional storytelling.
