무수한 빛이 형형색색 반짝이며 부유하고 있는 무중력 공간 ‘지식의 상자', 그곳에는 여러 가지 세계가 있고 여러 시간이 있으며 수많은 사람이 있었다. 듀얼과 도로시는 그 곳에서 세계를 침식하는 존재 ‘바이러스’와 싸우고 있었다. 어느 날 듀얼과 도로시는 새로운 바이러스의 출현을 감지하고, 그 곳에서 바이러스에게 공격당하고 있는 소녀를 발견한다. 소녀는 ‘리모’라고 자신을 소개하고 한 마디를 꺼냈다. “꽃밭으로 돌아가야 해…”

However, they discover that the event is being run by a corrupt millionaire heavily involved in illegal gambling and betting, who demands that they lose the match on purpose. To add to the confusion, one of the players on the rival team introduces himself as Ryoma's brother.
