The film plunges the intrigue of a love triangle in which is involved a former actress who has a relationship with her husband, a film producer, her lover, the screenwriter of the films he produces, and a criminal lawyer.

The particular storyline concerns memory, specifically the transference of chief scientist Professor Ulop’s memories to a mentally vacant physical subject. Considering this is a banal idea, and more-or-less certain to go horribly wrong (the alternative atavistic title Beasts Shouldn’t Look in the Mirror hints how), the visuals had better be good if this story is to keep the audience’s interest. And against expectations they actually are.

Loris is a young man who begins a romance with Francisca, his piano teacher, a forty-year-old who lives dominated by her mother, who was a successful soprano in her youth. Jose Antonio Amor co-stars with Sonia Bruno and Maria Blanco in this comedy drama about a married man with three children. When his family leaves on vacation, the man has an affair with a pretty office worker. The relationship between the two develops slowly before they end up in bed together. Speeded up shots are used effectively to illustrate the thoughts of the characters. Technical aspects and performances are fine and overshadow some uneven editing.

A boy of fourteen enters to work as messenger boy in a flower shop. His first task is to bring a bouquet for a bride but arrives late and is forced to go to the altar. His second job is to bring a funeral wreath but uses it to save a man who is drowning in the river. Naturally, he is late again. In the afternoon, he carries a basket of flowers to the TV a Spanish movie star is performing. But he is wrong and takes another funeral wreath that is delivered to star in a big stage. Due to customer complaints he is fired and the store puts back the sign "boy is needed."

At night, a young thief boldly breaks into an empty office, but his petty theft goes unexpectedly wrong.
