This feature shows how it came to be, how Darabont infused some last-minute ideas into its assembly, and how it wedged in as one of the stronger parts of The Mist.

It's great to see a lot of the work-in-progress materials (grid assembly, texture work, etc), as it helps to appreciate exactly what pops up on screen. Furthermore, it also discusses a lot of the "mist" effects that play off of their environments

This is a short featurette that features famed poster artist Struzan, made legendary for his beautiful Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Stephen King adaptation posters. Thomas Jane's character became modeled after Struzan, which might be easily identifiable at the start of The Mist.

In the fifteenth film in the series, in October 1917, working with a beautiful lady spy, Indiana Jones is assigned to assist the British forces in their attack on the Turkish-occupied town of Beersheba. With a regiment of the Australian Lighthorsemen approaching, Indy must defuse the explosives the Turks have placed throughout the town.

In the thirteenth film in the series, in March 1917, Indiana Jones, now a captain in the French army, is assigned to escort two Austrian princes to meet with Emperor Karl I and convince him to broker a peace deal with France and Britain at the expense of Austria's alliance with Germany. Two months later, at the French Embassy in Petrograd, Indy must decide between his loyalty to his friends and his work in French Intelligence when he is pressed to discover details of a possible Bolshevik revolution in Russia which would cripple the French war effort.

In the eleventh film in the series, in December 1916, Indy, still stationed in Africa, is promoted to Captain and then ordered to cross the jungle with Remy and Captain Boucher to pick up a shipment of weaponry. Along the way, Ubangan Sergeant Barthélèmy picks up the sole surviving child from a disease-ravaged village despite Boucher's orders against it. On the way back, Indy and company succumb to disease themselves, and are picked up by Albert Schweitzer and the orderlies from his jungle hospital. At first resistant to being treated by a German, Indy soon begins to realize that Schweitzer is not interested in war, only attempting to cure people against all odds.

A girl is in love with a gas station attendant and sees him against her father's wishes. The father is the sheriff and shortly after a confrontation with the boy friend, he is killed by escaped convicts and the daughter is kidnapped. Everyone, including the deputy, is convinced that the boy friend committed the murder and ran away with the girl. This sets up a chase of the convicts by the boy friend and of the boy friend by the police.

In the fourth film in the series, in 1910's Russia, a few acts of clumsiness puts Indy at odds with his father who is greatly displeased with Indy. Indy runs away into the Russian countryside and wakes in the morning on a haystack. He encounters colorful Gypsies, fierce Imperial Cossack troops, and an odd, cantankerous old man named Leo Tolstoy, who is in full agreement that "hell" is other people. Later, in Greece, Indy meets Nikos Kazantzakis, the writer who would some day write Zorba the Greek.

In the tenth film in the series, in November 1916, Indiana Jones and Remy Baudouin have managed to get a transfer from the European trenches to the plains of Africa. On arrival they both receive a promotion to the rank of lieutenant in the Belgian Army. When they take the wrong train they end up in Moshi. Desperate to join their unit in Lake Victoria, the two men bump into the 25th Royal Fusiliers, a unit of cranky old men led by Indy's old acquaintance Frederick Selous. Indy's passing knowledge of trains and fluent German comes in handy for the Fusiliers, who are about to go on a mission to find and destroy a Phantom Train that carries an enormous German artillery gun.

The foul-mouthed, wheelchair-bound Mr. Rush introduces three adventure tales inspired by the EC Comics of the 1950s: "Showdown," "King of the Road," and "Yellow." This star-studded telefilm was an attempt to launch a second anthology series in the mold of "Tales from the Crypt." When the film failed to generate sufficient interest, the three tales were re-edited and shown as "Crypt" episodes.

전편에서 인체 전송을 연구하다 파리와 합성되어 버린 과학자 세스 브런들이 여기자 린다에게 임신시켰던 아이가 파리의 유충같은 번데기에 싸여 탄생한다. 린다는 출산 직후 사망하고 번데기에서 나온 아기 마틴은 바톡이라는 사람이 경영하는 유전공학 업체(Bartok Industries)의 연구실에서 키워진다. 마틴은 몸 속의 돌연변이 유전자의 영향으로 매우 빠르게 성장하여 다섯살 때 이미 성인의 모습이 된다. 지능지수도 상상을 초월하여 정도로 높아, 그가 다섯살이 되는 날, 바톡은 그를 인체 전송연구 책임자로 임자로 임명한다. 자신의 출생의 비밀을 모르는채, 아버지가 아무에게도 알려주지 않고 가버린 인체전송 프로그램의 운용법을 연구하기 시작한 마틴은, 회사의 신입사원으로 야간근무를 하는 베스라는 여직원을 알게되어 사랑에 빠진다. 그러던 어느날 베스의 초대로 회사내 표본 부서의 파티에 참석했다가 표본우리에 갇혀있는 괴물로 변한 개를 목격하는데, 그 개는 마틴이 어렸을 때 귀여워 했으며, 당시 우연히 목격한 전송실험중에 괴물로 변하는 것을 보고 충격을 받아야 했던 바로 그 개다. 마틴은 표본우리에 몰래 들어가 눈물을 흘리며 개를 안락사 시키고 바톡에게는 모르는 일이라며 거짓말한다. 아무튼 전송 프로그램의 비밀을 풀어 유기체의 완벽한 전송에 성공한 마틴은 자기만이 그 프로그램 화일을 열 수 있도록 패스워드를 심어놓고, 다른 사람이 틀린 패스워드를 넣을 경우 프로그램이 모두 파괴되도록 부비트랩까지 설치해 놓는다. 잠복성이었던 염색체들이 활동을 개시하면서 파리로 변해가는 과정이 시작되자 치료방법을 알기 위해 전송프로그램을 연구한 끝에, 전송장치 속에 정상인과 돌연변이 DNA와 바꿔치기 하는 방법밖에 없다는 해답을 얻는다. 마틴은 자신이 잔인한 실험의 대상임과 함께 풀 수 없었던 전송장치의 비밀을 자신을 통해 풀려했던 비인간적인 과학자의 흑심에 대한 복수가 시작된다.

This horror documentary is not the same as the 1986 TV special Stephen King's World of Horror nor the 1988 VHS release of the same name, which runs 45 minutes, was distributed by Front Row Entertainment and is about King himself. Instead, This Is Horror (copyright 1989) was a TV special which ran in four 60 minute increments. This new special used some framing footage from the original 'World of Horror' but is primarily newer interviews and behind-the-scenes footage about what was hot in horror in the late 80s. Here in the U.S., a condensed 90-minute version made its way onto video courtesy of Goodtimes in 1990. Elsewhere, the entire special was released as 2 different tapes running 90 minutes apiece. In the UK these were titled This is Horror: A Video Encyclopedia of Horror (Volumes 1 and 2) and in Germany they were called Best of Stephen King's World of Horror (Parts 1 & 2).

1958년 영화를 리메이크했다. 갑자기 하늘에서 커다란 빛이 숲속으로 떨어진다. 숲속에서 쓰레기를 모아 생활하던 한 노인이 그것을 발견하고 가까이 다가가보니 무엇인가 빛나는 물체가 부글부글 끓어오른다. 노인이 호기심에 그 물체를 막대기로 집어올리는 찰나 갑작스런 공격을 받아 비틀거리며 차도로 나오다가 마침 그곳을 지나가던 브라이언 일행의 차에 부딪혀 쓰러진다. 그들이 노인을 병원으로 옮기지만 노인의 시체는 바로 부패되서 이미 숨이 끊어져 있다. 숨을 돌릴 틈도 없이 천장에 매달린 괴물체의 습격으로 폴의 몸도 녹아 죽는다. 인간의 양분을 빨아먹으며 점점 몸집이 커지는 겔모양의 괴물체는 온 마을의 하수구로 이동해 다니며 인간들을 살해하는데..

여고생 크리스턴 파커는 악몽에 시달리다 다시 정신 병원에까지 입원한다. 그곳에는 그녀와 같이 악몽으로 잠을 두려워하는 아이들이 치료를 받고 있는 중이다. 악몽 전문가로 성장한 낸시가 이들 학생들을 보살핀다. 그녀는 악몽으로 괴로움을 받는 크리스턴을 꿈 속으로 들어가 구출해 내기도 하는데, 낸시는 크리스턴이 꿈 속에서 잠이 든 다른 사람을 끌여들일 수 있는 능력이 있음을 알고 이것을 이용하기로 한다. 이들의 담당의사인 닐 고든 박사와 함께 크리스턴을 비롯 악몽에 시달리는 필립, 킨케이트, 제니퍼, 조이, 타린 등과 함께 그룹을 조성하여 꿈 속에 동참한다. 그러나 쿠루거에 의해 필립이 건물에서 투신하고, 제니퍼가 텔레비젼 브라운관에 머리를 부딪치는 등 비참하게 죽게 된다. 결국 닐 박사의 최면술을 이용, 이들은 모두 크리스턴의 꿈속으로 들어간다. 하지만 조이가 간호원으로 변장한 쿠루거에 의해 잡혀 혼수상태에 빠지고 만다. 이때 악몽의 원인을 찾던 닐 박사는 과거 정신 병원이었던 곳에서 전부터 환영처럼 보이던 수녀 복장을 한 의문의 여인을 만난다. 그녀는 메리 헬레나라고 하는 수녀로서, 닐 박사에게 프레드 쿠루거에 대한 모든 비밀을 알려준다. 40여 년 전 아만다 쿠르거라는 한 소녀가 우연히 그곳 정신수용소에 갖혀 수용자들로부터 강간을 당한 뒤, 프레디를 낳게 된다. 그는 수백명의 정신병자의 사생아로서, 후에 살해됐다고 추정하지만 시체가 발견되지 않았다고 한다. 그리고 마지막으로 그가 쉴 수 있도록 성스러운 땅에 묻어달라는 부탁을 받는다. 닐 박사는 프레디의 유품을 숨긴 낸시의 아버지를 설득하여 함께 자동차 폐차장에서 프레디의 유골을 찾아낸다. 한편 낸시는 조이를 구하고자 아이들과 함께 꿈속으로 진입하여 프레디와 한판 격전을 벌이지만 꿈에서 실현할 수 있는 아이들의 무한한 상상력으로도 그를 당해낼 수 없어 낸시는 죽게되는데...

Includes celebrity guests John Carpenter, Clive Barker and Frank Darabont, plus a section on outrageous horror film promotions. Portions of this 45-minute TV special (released as is on VHS by Front Row Entertainment in 1988) were later used as bookmarking material for the This is Horror releases in 1989-90.

신입생들의 환영파티가 있던 밤. 학교 선배들은 신입생들에게 전통적인 통과의례로 마티를 비롯한 다른 신입생들에게 흉가에서 하룻밤 머물 것을 제안한다. 신입생들을 흉가로 데려간 뒤, 20년전의 전설을 이야기한다. "가쓰일가는 이 동네에서 유명한 유지였지만 기형적으로 태어난 살인마 자식들에게 살해당해 흉가가 됐다"는 이야기를 해주고 비상시를 위해 엽총을 주고 사라진다. 그저 단순히 전설로만 믿고 하룻밤을 보내던 중 친구들이 하나 둘씩 살해되자 장난이 아니란 사실을 알고 도망치려 한다. 그러나 문은 굳게 잠겨있고 엽총은 장난감 총이었다. 할 수 없이 한 신입생이 커텐을 이용해 흉가를 탈출, 경찰서에 찾아가 살인사건에 관한 얘길 해보지만 그의 말을 믿어 주지 않는다. 그러자 그는 엽총을 훔쳐 다시 흉가에 오게되고 집정원에서 살인마와 싸워 한명을 처치하게 된다. 그러나 방심하는 사이 또다른 형제 살인마에게 죽게 되고, 마지막 남은 마티는 필사의 탈출을 감행하는데...
