Limited Edition Extended Pilot: When Icarus Base is attacked, it's inhabitants are forced to flee through the Stargate. The base was created on a distant planet to take advantage of a powerful energy supply located there. Their goal is to try and determine the purpose of the mysterious ninth symbol of the Stargate which they have never been able to lock in. In going through the Stargate, they are transported not to Earth but onto an very old, apparently uninhabited but huge spacecraft. With the group's commander injured, Lt. Scott and the chief scientist, Dr. Nicholas Rush lead the exploration of the craft. Several areas of the ship have been damaged but it is basically functional. They are able to learn that they are in fact billions of light years from Earth.

Scene 35 can best be described as the point in which the muck hits the fan. It's a scene with unbridled chaos involving CG effects, creature models, stunts, coordination, dramatic character portrayals ... just about anything that could possibly go wrong in a scene. This feature shows how it came to be, how Darabont infused some last-minute ideas into its assembly, and how it wedged in as one of the stronger parts of The Mist.

Susan and Mark move to a seaside town to buy an old house and open an inn. They came to look at one house, but Susan is inexplicably drawn to another. 무일푼의 떠돌이 마이클(Michael: 니콜라스 케이지 분)은 '레드 락'이라 불리는 작은 마을을 지나치게 된다. 우연히 들른 카페에서 마이클을, 소개 받아 온 하수인으로 착각한 주인 웨인(Wayne: J.T. 웰쉬 분)은 그에게 살인 청부를 부탁하고 그 대가로 5천 달러를 건네준다. 그러나 대상은 다름아닌 웨인의 아내 수잔(Suzanne: 라라 플린 보일 분). 내키지 않았지만 많은 돈 때문에 수락하게 된 마이클은 차마 수잔을 죽이지 못하고 자초지종을 그녀에게 설명하기에 이른다. 그의 얘기에 수잔은 오히려 5천달러를 더 줄테니 웨인을 살해해 달라는 똑같은 제의해온다. 어리둥절한 채 돈을 받고 그 집을 빠져 나온 마이클은 경찰에 이 모든 상황을 적은 편지를 보내고 만달러는 고스란히 챙겨 굴러 들어온 행운을 기뻐하며 마을을 빠져 나온다. 그러나 그 순간도 잠깐. 이미 총에 맞은 사람을 차로 친 마이클은 황급히 그를 병원에 옮기지만 자신이 살인범으로 몰리게 된다. 게다가 진짜 살인 청부업자인 라일(데니스 호퍼 분)이 등장하고 의외로 마을 보안관인 웨인마저 그를 쫓는데.

Larry McAfee is paralyzed from the neck down following a motorcycle accident. He gradually loses the will to live, in the meantime befriending a talk radio DJ over the phone. The two meet each other and become friends, though Larry still wishes to end his life. The DJ reluctantly has a switch installed on Larry's life support that Larry can activate at any time (via his mouth) to end his life.
