What is supposed to be the best holiday of their lives turns to horror as a group of teenagers is picked off one by one in a small coastal village.

This local ensemble comedy is set in 2003, as a group of working-class South Africans try to come to terms with their changed society. Seen through the eyes of a family dog, we watch as friends, neighbours and lovers try to deal with their challenging relationships.

Basson has five days to make it to his father's funeral in Cape Town, but needs to complete certain tasks on this trip before he can call the family company his own. On the road he meets free-spirited bohemian girl, Amory. As they journey across the breathtaking landscape of South Africa, they meet wonderful characters that allow for hilarious moments and life-changing experiences. Their trip takes a sudden turn for the worst when a villainous figure makes an appearance. Basson and Amory are faced with disappointment and heartache. On the road called life, it is inevitable that you will take some wrong turns. But no matter how hard the road might be, on route to true love is where you will find your true north.

Ouma en Oupa sit op die Stoep ... was written and directed by Leon Kruger. The program is based on the eponymous stage production. It's a situation comedy built around the actors Lida and Johan Botha, who make their appearance as Stanley and Deborah Vermeulen, or Grandpa and Grandma. It deals with various aspects of growing older and their adjustment to be grandparents. Deborah's niece, Anna, lives with them in the house, and Patience is the insistence of their son, Seuna appointed as their nurse

Marisa and Frank honeymoon in South Africa. A particularly favourable offer lures them to a lonely and run-down hotel. There, they are attacked by men. Frank is beaten and kidnapped, while Marisa barely escapes. She receives help from the young South African Biko, who helps her to escape the men. Marisa and Biko find out that people are abducted to be cannibalized for the trade in organs. Finally, the two try to find frank and save him.

In addition to the usual (mostly mature) cast, pretty girl Zoli Marki muddles things up. Add to this a mix-up with a heyday homelands casino for further comedy and confusion.

Magdaleen, a lonely widow in her 70s, creates an imaginary version of her deceased husband to numb the sadness and pain. After being so overwhelmed with her memories for so long, she desperately tries to re-enter the outside world and see the sea again that she has been longing for for months now.
