In 1942, Christian writer Jochen Klepper lived with his Jewish wife and daughter in Berlin, Germany. Their applications to emigrate got rejected and they became part of the last and sad defense of the Jewish-Christian community.
A bounty hunter disguises himself as an Indian. He wants to prove against a deceased landowner that she led a double life as a wanted robber and murderer. He pretends to be a shaman in order to confirm his suspicions behind the back of her grieving maid and then disappear with the body. Unfortunately for the bounty hunter this does not agree with the maid, who has her own plans for him...
During a 10 minute ride, we witness in 2 parallel long-takes the changing rivalries between 3 gangsters and the growing panic of their hostage in the trunk. The kidnappers just have to cross a river to get to the delivery point. But instead of a bridge, a big surprise is waiting for them.
