On his deathbed, his royal highness Alfredo, King without a crown, is taken back to distant youth memories and the time he dreamt of becoming a fireman. The encounter with instructor Afonso from the fire brigade, opens a new chapter in the life of the two young men devoted to love and desire, and the will to change the status quo.

From our window one can see a set of the film The Green Years, directed by Paulo Rocha in 1963. This was our starting point: guided by Rocha's gaze, we look back at the places of that film. The successive geological, urbanistic and social strata of Lisbon, besieged by the pandemic that interrupted the shooting, are drawn out in front of our camera, like a contemporary jazz impro from a score written in 1963.

귀도는 오랜 연인인 키아라에게 시간을 갖자는 말을 듣고 화가 나 집을 나온다. 그 후 부모님과 친구들의 집을 전전하던 귀도는 연인들의 여러가지 순간을 마주하고, 관계의 의미에 대해 다시 생각하게 된다.

죽음에 대한 존중과 망각에 대한 저항을 탁월한 비주얼로 설파하는 아름다운 영화. 신원미상의 시체가 외딴 시체보관소에서 발견된다. 이곳에는 노년의 관리인, 무덤 파는 남자, 실종된 딸을 찾고 있는 여성, 상처 입은 영구차 운전사가 있다. 그들은 이 시신의 장례를 치러주기로 한다.

건강상의 문제로 더는 홀로 살 수 없게 된 고령의 한 노모는 자식들의 집을 전전하게 된다. 각자의 어려움을 호소하며, 어머니를 모시기를 거부하는 자식들. 어느 날부터, 그녀는 억제할 수 없는 웃음을 터트리게 되고, 이는 자식들의 심기를 거스른다.
