A woman goes through a weekend full of ups and downs after a shocking diagnose, according to which she has less than a year left to live.

The IEK team investigates the corpse of 1970s-disappeared flower girl Monika Rothmann, both burned and suffocated as drowned. She was believed to have abandoned husband Herbert and daughter Anja without a trace, but it turns out she started a new life as a political and environmental activist, yielding potential motives and suspects, but also an adulterous affair.

Nicky Koch is in her mid-forties, a successful head buyer at a hip online shop and in a relationship with her much younger colleague Sascha Brehmer. When she defies her bosses, she is fired. Ironically, Sascha should take over her post. In this crisis, the invitation to the 25-year class reunion comes at just the right time. There she meets her old crush, Axel Hartmann, who turns out to be Sascha's father...

A man travels to Berlin because his ex girlfriend is in a coma. He takes their son, Manuel. The father goes to the clinic often and Manuel feels out of place, so he prefers to ride his skateboard through the city in winter. The speechless and motionless body of the woman disturbs father and son, each one in his own way. The son faces the libidinous turbulences of becoming an adult, while the father suffers the physical discomforts of his age. A confrontation of different body images within an environment of emotional distance and the coldness of the city.

1986 - The protest movement against the construction of the nuclear power plant in Brokdorf is on its last legs. Only one rural commune remains: the "Alternative Wohnkollektiv Regenbogen". For them, it could go on and on with endless consensus discussions, shearing sheep and naked communal bathing. One day, the lowland communards are joined by two city dwellers, Hanne and her son Niels. While Hanne gets used to scream therapy and raising vegetables surprisingly quickly - and even more quickly to the tantra games with commune guru Peter - Niels has less and less desire for the dogmatic commune rules. Out of defiance, he joins the violent nuclear power plant resistance, thus upsetting the tranquil chaos of the commune. The big bang, however, comes when a reactor explodes in distant Chernobyl. Exactly on the day Bobby Ewing dies, the petroleum prince from "Dallas" and series favorite of the commune.

As a rule, the right son-in-law still has to be baked - especially if he takes half of the family business with the marriage. This is exactly the last will of Charlotte Hansen's just deceased uncle, owner of a thriving Hanseatic tea account. Unfortunately, the heir, Charlotte's daughter Sandra, often makes a bad choice in terms of relationships, according to her mother. So also fits the current friend of her daughter, a windy nightclub owner, so not in Charlotte's scheme.

Andreas, who is ten, has been brought up by his grandmother. When she dies, he removes a putto from the crucifix placed upon her, puts it in his mouth and does not speak again. The attempts by adults to make a normal child out of him only cause him to flee deeper into his fantasy world - a village of snow. At its center is a snowman with whom Andreas converses.

A nine year old boy named Joey, who after the tragic death of his father, begins to experience psychic powers such as allowing him to move inanimate objects with his mind, set things on fire, and even communicate with his dead father. However, not everything is good for Joey as his newly gained powers accidentally awake an evil supernatural force that is contained inside the body of an old ventriloquist's dummy that Joey found in an abandoned house. The supernatural Dummy shows similar powers to Joey's, and soon he puts the lives of everyone near Joey in danger as the evil Dummy has dark plans for Joey's special powers.
