"Un Crime" takes place over a single night, between 10pm and 6am. It takes place in a single setting - a millionaire's apartment in Lyon. The second is Frédéric Chapelin-Tourvel, Dunand's rich client, twenty years his junior. Throughout the night, Dunand tries to track down the truth. Did Frédéric kill his father and mother, in particularly barbarous circumstances ?

프랑스의 브레따뉴 지방 사비니엥 백작의 성에서는 아들 오렐과 대녀인 셀린느와 사제의 사생아인 타르깽이 서로 형제같이 어린 시절을 보낸다. 성년이 된 이들은 1789년, 프랑스 혁명을 맞이하는데 셀린느만이 성에 남고 오렐은 미국으로 타르깽은 파리로 떠난다. 사비니엥 백작은 날으는 방법(글라이더)에 몰두하는데 셀린느는 둘을 기다리며 백작의 작업을 도와준다. 4년후, 공화주의자로 변모한 타르깽이 파리에서 돌아와 공화정의 군대를 징집하고 셀린느로 하여금 주민들을 교육시킨다. 한편 미국에서 돌아온 오렐은 참혹해진 프랑스를 보고 실망한다. 셀린느가 타르깽을 사랑하는 걸로 오해한 오렐은 질투심에 불타고 무단 정치에 공포를 느껴 대항아는 왕당파에 가담하지만 전쟁의 무의함을 느껴 셀린느에게 편지를 보낸다. 그리 셀린느도 그의 사랑이 진실임을 깨닫는다. 무수한 인명을 죽이면서까지 연적인 오렐을 끝까지 제거하려는 타르깽에게 셀린느는 총을 쏘고 성에 갇혀 감옥을 알려준다. 셀린느를 구한 오렐은 공화정 군대의 총격을 받으면서 아버지 사비니엥이 발명한 기계를 타고 하늘로 향해 오른다.

In Paris , Commissioner Stan Jalard and Inspector Simon Lecache plan to quit the police to go and enjoy a more peaceful life in the West Indies. In a nightclub, during a routine visit, they spot Schneider, a dreaded gangster and public enemy. At the time of his arrest, Simon is killed at close range by the criminal. Stan then decides to stay in the police to avenge Simon. Being the godfather of Christian, Simon's son, who sometimes lives in a boarding school, sometimes at home, he takes charge of his education. Two years later, Stan has been promoted, and he's told that Schneider had resurfaced in the capital. A long hunt begins.

An anthology film consisting of four stories. (1) A man reads a Dracula novel while in bed, but cannot seem to tell the novel from reality, causing sleep troubles.
