On the 7th month of the lunar calendar, all ghosts and spirits are active and get to walk the earth for the month so that they can find a way to reincarnate. During one of these nights, a young kid named Chun Sing (Billy Chong), is visited by his dead Father. Chun Sing's father states that he was murdered by a man named Kam Tai Fu (Lo Lieh). And as you may have guessed, Chun Sing must avenge his father's death. It won't be easy though because Kam Tai Fu has some help in the form of a Black Magician (Ta Hsi Yen) and his evil gung fu.

Plain-clothes detective Wang is the best in his trade. One day he stumbles across a young girl's body who apparently is died of abortion. Wang investigates the guilty abortionist who leads Wang to a secret organization called "The Welfare Association". Actually it is an international prostitution racket. Wang sneaks into the association. When he is about to arrest the association's organizer, a girl, Lei, whose sister's death cause by the secret society, saves Wang in certain death. Wang arrests the organizer but has set her free from headquarter. Wang and Lei get together in getting the commander dismissed.

무술대회장에서 상인들의 판권을 놓고 싸우던 평백은 스기하라를 죽이지만 그 역시 죽고만다. 그후 평백의 아들 철은 비적생활을 하던 중 고향으로 돌아오나 어릴때 그를 좋아하던 봉순은 대웅과 결혼을 한 후였다. 한편 스기하라의 아들 곡강은 판권을 움켜쥐고 상인들의 고혈을 빨고 있던 중 무술대회에서 대웅을 죽인다. 대웅을 돕고자 나왔던 철마저 잡히는 신세가 되자, 봉순은 곡강에게 철의 석방을 요구하고 곡강에게 몸을 허락하는 조건을 세운다. 철이 석방이 되고 곡강이 봉순을 탐하려 하자 봉순이 그를 죽이려 하지만 되려 죽게 그녀가 죽는다. 석방된 철은 무술을 연마하여 무술시합에서 곡강을 죽인다. 한국의 장일호 감독이 홍콩 가서 만든 영화. 한국 배우가 많이 나온다. 국문과 출신인 장일호 감독은 1953년 극단 신협에서 활동했으며 56년, 신필름에 있으면서 신상옥 감독 밑에서 연출수업을 받았다. 그의 감독 데뷔작은 1961년 작인 이다. 70년대 초반엔 홍콩으로 건너가 쇼브라더스에서 활동한 적도 있으며, 액션, 멜로, 공포, 시대극 등 장르를 가리지 않고 수많은 영화들을 만들었다. 80년대 만든 멜로 시리즈 이후로 감독 활동을 쉬고 있다.

문성주를 중심으로 송나라를 복원시키려는 저항세력은 그가 원나라의 대원사에게 체포되자 구출계획을 세운다. 저항세력은 정체를 알 수 없는 협객 이호주의 도움으로 감옥 안으로 들어가는데 성공하지만 성주는 보이지 않는다. 한국배우 김기주가 대원사로 등장해 무게감 있는 연기를 펼치고 합작영화의 단골 홍콩 스타 로례이가 이호주로 등장한다. 무협영화의 볼거리와 궁중사극의 긴박감을 적절하게 조화시키고 있다. 몽고족은 송나라를 무너뜨리고 대원제국을 수립한다. 망국의 우승상 문성주는 군대를 이끌고 끝까지 저항했으나 결국 체포되어 옥에 갇힌다. 그러나 송나라인들은 문성주를 구하여 송나라를 재건코자 동지를 규합한다. 이에 처녀의 몸인 영아도 문성주를 구하려 앞장서게되며 방랑의 검객 이호주, 역시 영아와 송나라를 위하여 원군과 투쟁하게 된다. 한편 원군 총수인 백안은 이들을 체포하여 공을 세우려하지만 번번이 실패하고 만다. 마침내 이들 우국지사들은 옥을 습격, 성주를 찾아내나 성주는 이미 죽어있고 영아만이 살아남아 망국하에 몸부림친다.

Ivy Ling Po gives a startling performance as an abused wife who suffers through all his adulterous and treacherous ways in The Silent Love, which became an allegorical, tragic love story that reflected the unspoken truths inherent in Chinese society. Lead actor Chin Feng received the 1971 Golden Horse Outstanding Performance award for his portrayal as The Mute, a man that secretly loves Ivy and does all he can to make her life better, except that it backfires on him.

억울하게 죽은 영주의 복수를 행하는 협객들의 활약을 그린 작품. 황제의 친동기 이공이 자신의 영토 확장을 위해 장공을 죽이자, 억울하게 죽은 영주의 복수를 위해 칠인의 협객들이 힘을 모은다. 이라는 제목으로 홍콩에서 제작됐으며, 한국에서는 영화 중간 부분에 검객으로 합류한 배우 남석훈을 포함해 <7인의 협객>이라는 제목으로 소개됐다. 당시 유행하던 구로사와 아키라 감독의 <7인의 사무라이>와 유사한 제명과 형식으로 구성된 일련의 ‘7인’ 검객 영화물의 하나로 안양영화사에서 수입, 한홍 합작영화로 개봉했다. 1960년대 후반 배우 윤일봉이 홍콩 쇼 브라더스로 건너가 출연한 몇 편의 무협영화 중 한 편으로, 이밖에 남석훈, 진봉진 등 한국 배우들의 활약을 살펴볼 수 있다

국내 권격 액션영화 팬들에게 <용호투>로 잘 알려져 있는 <용호의 결투>는 홍콩 쿵후영화 역사에서 매우 중요한 작품이다. 그전까지 홍콩 액션영화들의 대세는 쿵후영화와는 다소 거리를 둔 무협영화가 대부분이었다. 쇼브러더스의 간판스타 왕우 역시 <독비도> 시리즈를 비롯한 몇편의 무협영화로 스타가 되었지만, 엄밀히 말해 <용호의 결투> 이전까지 ‘쿵후영화’ 혹은 ‘쿵후 스타’는 존재하지 않았다. 왕우의 뛰어난 점은 여기서 비롯된다. 그는 사람들로부터 ‘천황거성’(天皇巨星)으로 불릴 정도로 전무후무한 대스타였고, 쇼브러더스 시절 자기 목소리를 낼 수 있는 단 한명의 배우였다(쇼브러더스 시절 배우는 ‘사원’과 다름없는 취급을 받았다). 자신의 인기와 지명도를 이용, 적극적으로 밀어붙인 <용호의 결투>는 그가 직접 아이디어를 내고 처음으로 각본과 감독을 맡은 야심작이다. 왕우의 새로운 도전은 막대한 흥행 수익으로 보상받는다.

A young swordswoman named Fang Ying-qi (Cheng Pei-Pei) sets out to join a gathering of the martial world’s leading warriors under the banner of Lord Xia (Fang Mien) and the Flying Dragon Clan. 마위갑은 휘하에 3명의 뛰어난 검객을 두고 창주에서 주점을 경영하며 도적질로 생활한다. 그러면서도 마위갑은 깊은 산중에 딸과 더불어 은거하고있기 때문에 누구도 그를 도적으로 생각질 않는다. 그무렵 당대 갑부인 백만가의 집을 습격한 괴한들은 많은 인명을 살해하고 금은보화를 훔쳐갔기 때문에 창주포도사 '철무정'은 두명의 동생을 대동하고 괴한들의 뒤를 쫓는다. 철무정은 괴한들을 추격하는 가운데 마위갑이 도적의 괴수임을 알게되어 마위갑과 최후의 대결을 하게된다. 결국 철무정은 악의 무리를 응징하고 포도사의 본분을 다하게 된다.

Hong Kong remake of the European spy movie Passport to Hell: Secret Agent 3S3. A military plane carrying a nuclear load explodes mid-air after being hit by mysterious electronic rays. Secret agents are immediately ordered to trace its source. Sculptor Liang Tien Hong (Paul Chang Chung) returns to Hong Kong having been recalled by his uncle. He arrives to discover his uncle killed by agents. Liang’s uncle, inventor of the secret ray, dies after being tortured for information. The authorities believe the transmitter is still in Liang’s home. Steps are taken to find and destroy it for world peace.

Chang Yi plays Chan Chao, a knight of justice, who thwarts the plans of Minister Peng to assassinate the revered Judge Pao Cheng over and over again. Lo Lieh gives Chang a good run for his money as the evil and sinister henchman of Minister Peng.
