우주 폐기물을 청소하던 코로나호는 낡은 구형 우주선에서 나오는 SOS 신호를 받고 구조에 나선다. 조난신호를 따라 우주선으로 들어간 코로나호의 ‘미겔’과 ‘하인츠’는 허름한 구형 우주선 내부에서 화려한 저택을 발견하고, 그 저택의 주인이 미녀 오페라 가수 ‘에바’의 것임을 알게 된다. 하지만 두 구조대원에게 알 수 없는 일들이 계속해서 일어나는데… 과연 두 사람은 무사히 구조활동을 마치고 코로나호로 돌아갈 수 있을까?

Mankind's problems are tempting the moon to move away from the planet Earth, but Kaguya, a superhuman spiritualist, is attempting not to let it go off too far. She comes down to Earth from her home in outer space to help solve the relationship problems of people. Her first assignment involves foiling a perfect murder and a bit of gender-bending as she tries to help Tanaka revive the life of his dream lover and get revenge on the killer, which was her ex-girlfriend. The second assignment involves pulling a sexually frustrated teenager's spirit out of a video game after the stress of being dumped forced it outside the body.

Momoko's teacher asks the third grade to draw a picture based on their favorite song, to enter in a contest. She picks a song she's recently become fond of during music class, and is anxious to make a good drawing based on it. On her way to meet relatives in Shizuoka, Momoko meets Shoko Kimura, a university student who occasionally draws portraits and plans to participate in an art contest. Momoko and Shoko become close friends, and end up inspiring each other both in their own ways.

Chibi Maruko chan is the nickname of a sweetly obnoxious 9-year-old girl. She tricks her grandfather, ponders for hours over how to spend her allowance, and hates sitting next to ugly boys. She talks, feels and lives just as real kids do. As the second term commences, Maruko and her classmates return to their small groups. Maruko’s group includes two naughty boys and Maruko is forced to be one of their subordinates. She seems to face a lot of pressure at school.

거대 우주선에서 출격한 기계수들이 사오토메 연구소와 과학요새연구소를 습격한다. 과학요새연구소는 파괴되고, 무사시는 공중괴수 그랑겐에 의해 불귀의 객이 되고 만다. 게다가 그레이트 마징가의 테츠야도 광선괴수 피그트론의 공격을 받고 중상을 입는다. 사오토메 연구소는 무사시를 대신해 벤케이를 영입하고 새로이 겟타로보G를 출격시킨다. 그레이트 마징가도 신무기 ‘그레이트 부스터’를 장비하고 적의 사령탑인 우주선으로 향한다.

아득한 우주 저편에서 지구를 노리고 쳐들어온 공포의 대괴수 기르기르간. 그리고 거기에 맞서는 과학요새연구소와 사오토메 연구소. 하지만 서로에 대한 경쟁심으로 독자적인 행동을 취하는 겟타로보와 그레이트 마징가는 기르기르간의 마수에 속절없이 당하고 만다. 그러나 위기에 처한 지구를 구할 수 있는 것은 양대 슈퍼로봇 밖에 없다. 다시금 협력 체제를 정비한 그레이트 마징가와 겟타로보의 합동작전이 시작된다.
