Sen Rikyu is a ceremonial tea master who advises warlord Hideyoshi in sixteenth-century feudal Japan. His daughter, the beautiful Lady Ogin, has an unrequited love for Lord Ukon, who has angered Hideyoshi by becoming a Christian convert. Ogin's father Rikyu also displeases Hideyoshi by opposing the warlord's plan to invade China and Korea. When the animalistic Hideyoshi is rejected by Ogin, he threatens her and her father with arrest and worse.

Suicide has long been used as a form of social protest in Japan. In this film, set in 1703, samurai culture is being transformed by the emergence of a new merchant class. Elements of the social contract are beginning to unravel, and some unscrupulous people took undue advantage of these changes before the social order was re-created. In this story, a rich merchant gives his clerk an I.O.U. instead of wages. When the impoverished clerk presents the paper to the merchant at the agreed upon time asking for payment, the man flies into a rage and pretends he never wrote it and claims the clerk is trying to defraud him. Then he sets his henchmen on the clerk to administer a beating.

The story of an orphan girl, brought up in naive, rustic innocence by an elderly relative, who is suddenly exposed to the brutality, greed and deceptiveness of the outside world when her grandmother dies. Notwithstanding her healthy distrust of all strangers, which her upbringing instilled in her, it is not long before a cunning racketeer finds her weak point, that temptation which she cannot resist, that weakness, different as it may be, that each of us has, and brings her into his power. What follows is a depiction of her cruel descent into the depths of moral decay, as she becomes a collaborator in a system of exploitation, unbridled lust, vanity, and greed, in which she and other victims are always the losers.

Akiyama is an intern, disgusted with the noise pollution caused by the bullet trains and the heart attacks that noise has been causing in older hospital patients, plots to disrupt and, in ten days, destroy a unit of the operation. A series of murders has been committed by someone with a new model gun, a Mord-Gessel X 38. Indeed, Daisuke himself is almost killed while investigating the case. This occurred while he was with Ritsuko, daughter of a company president. Detective Kimura thinks that the president himself, returned to Japan after an absence of fifteen years, might be the killer, or at least the man who supplied the gun. Ritsuko's father limps and though she explains this as the result of a traffic accident, Kimura remembers a narcotics smuggler named Suginami who shot himself in the ankle and then escaped from the hospital. He believes that the company president and the drug peddler are the same.

후지화산대가 활발한 활동을 보이던 중, 드디어 후지산이 분화. 그 열에너지에 이끌려 가메라가 나타난다. 동시에, 깊은 잠에 빠져 있던 다른 한마리의 괴수도 출현한다. 그것은 날개로 하늘을 날고 초음파메스를 발산하는 식인괴수 갸오스였다. 산중에서 최초의 전투가 시작된다. 가메라는 초음파 메스에 고전하면서도 갸오스에게 붙잡힌 소년을 구출. 그러나 깊은 상처를 입은 가메라는 그대로 모습을 감춰버리고 만다. 자위대는 빛을 싫어하는 갸오스의 습성을 이용하여, 빛을 쬐어서 둥지에 묶어두는 작전을 시도하지만, 실패. 갸오스는 둥지를 뛰쳐나와서, 나고야 시내를 파괴한다. 그곳에 상처를 치료한 가메라가 출현. 가메라는 갸오스의 다리를 붙들고 일출 때의 햇빛을 받게 하려고 꾀하지만, 갸오스는 자기의 다리를 절단하고 둥지로 도망쳐버린다. 다음으로 제시된 것은 회전작전. 인공혈액으로 갸오스를 꾀어내서, 회전 라운지에 묶어두는 것이다. 그리고 라운지를 고속회전시켜서 정신없게 만든 다음에 햇빛으로 결정타를 가한다는 작전. 그러나 발전소의 오버로드 때문에 이 작전도 실패하고 만다. 마지막으로, 산불작전이 개시된다. 둥지 주변에 미사일을 발사하여 불꽃이 피어오르자, 갸오스는 황색의 소화액을 토해내어 불을 끄려 한다. 그러나 차례로 엄습해 오는 미사일. 바로 그곳에 가메라가 나타난다.

Onna no Toba, is the first film in long-running series Daiei Studio's Woman Gambler with Kyoko Enami starring where she plays the woman gambler Ogin. The series gets cited on lists of action yakuza films or woman avenger films, but once the films are actually viewed, it is quickly obvious they are not generally about action except in the nominal sense of acts of gambling. And while Ogin is in fact sometimes motivated by revenge, she is not as a rule a martial artist or a killer, & this series tends to place its female hero as far away from the "action babe" method as she can get. Ogin is an honest dealer in the criminal underworld of yakuza-run gambling. She is samurai-like in that she sets out to become Japan's number one dealer, much as a samurai might go on his "warrior's pilgrimage" to become Japan's number one swordsman.

The story contrasts the life of two doctors, former classmates and now both assistant professors at Naniwa University Hospital in Osaka. The brilliant and ambitious surgeon Goro Zaizen stops at nothing to rise to a position of eminence and authority, while the friendly Shuji Satomi busies himself with his patients and research.

Gamera escapes from his rocket enclosure and makes his way back to Earth as a giant opal from New Guinea is brought back to Japan. The opal is discovered to have been an egg that births a new monster called Barugon. The creature attacks the city of Osaka by emitting a destructive rainbow ray from his back, along with a freezing spray capable of incapacitating Gamera.

Keizo Tsujiguchi believes his wife Natsue was having an extramarital affair when their child was kidnapped and killed. He believes of her extramarital affair she was unable to watch over their child properly and blames her for their daughter's death. To exact revenge on his wife, he then adopts the killer's child without telling the truth to his wife or their newly adopted child.

This impressionistic portrait of the 1964 Tokyo Summer Olympics pays as much attention to the crowds and workers as it does to the actual competitive events. Highlights include an epic pole-vaulting match between West Germany and America, and the final marathon race through Tokyo's streets. Two athletes are highlighted: Ethiopian marathon runner Abebe Bikila, who receives his second gold medal, and runner Ahamed Isa from Chad, representing a country younger than he is.

The first story concerns an attractive young woman who works in a Tokyo nightclub. Her plan for a solid financial future has a double whammy. In the second story, a beautiful young woman is employed by an unscrupulous real estate agent to convince male clients to invest in worthless property. The last story is about a widowed geisha who has no real financial worries and who falls in love with a forger.

In a rural district of Tokyo, the owner of a farm is abandoned by his two daughters who are attracted to the life of the big city.

고미술 감정가인 겐모치는 부인 이쿠코에게는 비밀로 정력 증진을 위해 주사를 맞으러 병원에 다니며, 병원 인턴인 기무라를 딸 도시코의 남편으로 생각하고 있다. 병원에 온 이쿠코는 남편의 통원 사실을 알지만 아무 말도 하지 않는다. 부부는 상대가 훔쳐 보고 있다는 것을 서로 알면서 각자 일기를 쓰고 있다. 기무라가 집을 방문하여 같이 술을 마신 날 밤 목욕탕에서 잠이 들어버린 이쿠코의 나신을 겐모치는 기무라에게 맡긴다. 이렇게 세 명의 기묘한 관계가 시작되고 질투로 부부 관계를 다시 일으키려 하는 겐모치는 고혈압으로 위험한 상태가 된다. 한 편으로 기무라와 도시코는 이미 관계를 맺고 있으며 이쿠코와 기무라와의 관계를 의심하면서도 기무라와 약혼을 한다. 결국 겐모치가 죽고 장례식이 끝나 재산 정리가 되자 이 집의 재산으로 개업을 생각했던 기무라는 실망하여 관계를 끊고 싶다고 생각한다. 도시코는 엄마의 홍차에 농약을 넣지만 노파의 잘못으로 약은 바뀌어져 3명의 셀러드에 뿌려져 있다.

밝게 웃는 얼굴과 건강함이 매력인 시마 교코. 엉뚱한 사건을 계기로 제과회사의 마스코트로 선택된 교코는 곧 스타덤에 오른다. 거대한 현대 소비사회에 희롱당하고 부딪치면서도 강한 의지를 관철하는 남녀를 그린 마스무라 야스조의 초기 대표작.

선거 위반으로 구속된 아버지를 찾아간 구치소에서 긴이치는 아키코와 알게 된다. 아키코의 아버지는 아픈 어머니를 입원시키기 위해 나쁜 짓을 하다 잡혔던 것이다. 긴이치는 오토바이에 아키코를 태우고 해안으로 간다. 수영복을 입은 아키코의 성숙한 모습에 긴이치는 충격을 받아 넘치는 에너지를 짜버리듯 놀이에 흥겨워 하지만, 그러던 중 3년 전에 가출한 엄마랑 우연히 만나게 된다. 아버지의 보석금으로 10만엔을 빌려 줄 것을 부탁하지만, 그 자신을 담보로 하지 않으면 돈은 빌려줄 수 없다고 거절 당한다. 한 편 아키코는 엄마의 입원비 뿐만 아니라 아버지의 보석금도 마련하지 않으면 안된다. 누드 모델만은 하고 싶지 않은 아키코는 그만 몸을 팔 결심을 하고 긴이치에게 헤어지자고 말한다. 긴이치는 그 때 몸을 빼앗길뻔한 상태에서 아키코를 구하고 엄마한테 빌린 돈 10만엔을 그녀의 손에 쥐어준다. '받을 이유가 없다'고 거절하는 아키코에게 긴이치는 격정적인 입맞춤을 한다. 상처 입은 아키코를 안고 긴이치는 처음으로 솔직하게 아키코에게 사랑을 이야기 한다.
