Run Sasaki

The survivors of Kanto's Hell Earthquake built a new city and christened it "Hope Town". However, this peaceful town becomes a nightmare when it's raided by the motorcycle gang, "Hell's Wind". They abduct the women while the remaining townsfolk are left helpless against them. Meanwhile, a boy, Saburo, meets Jun. Jun's lover was previously murdered, and the duo help one another to fight against Hell's Wind. The battles are getting more and more difficult, but with the appearance of Violence Jack, the citizens seem to gain the upper hand against Hell's Wind.

Guy is a Japanese street-brawler in New York who chooses to train under the famed boxer, Roman, with the hopes that he can raise enough money as a heavyweight to fund a life-saving operation for his father.

Two missions for the crushers. In "The Ice Prison", Joe and his team are assigned to adjust the orbit of a prison located on an ice asteroid before it disintegrates as it falls onto the planet Kirius. The prison is filled with political prisoners contrary to the autocracy of Kirius consequently rising the suspicion of the crushers. In "The Final Weapon: Ash", the team is secretly hired directly by the president of the nation of Bandor to rescue an officer carrying a bomb capable of annihilating all living organisms of an entire planet.

크라운 대은하에 존재하는 4개의 항성계(이스터, 웨스터, 사잔드, 노우즈)와 장대궤도를 지닌 스턴트 유성으로 말미암아 구성되는 조커 태양성단이 이 이야기의 주된 무대. 조커 성단에는 지극히 발달하였지만 완만하게 쇠퇴를 시작하고 있는 문명이 있다. 4개의 태양계의 몇 안 되는 행성에서 거주하고 있는 인류는 무수한 국가를 형성했으며, 이 국가들은 세력 확대를 위해 서로 싸우고 있었다. 그 국가간 분쟁의 비장의 카드는 바로 「모터헤드 (MH)」라 불리는 인간형의 거대 로봇. 그리고 과거의 초 문명의 피를 계승받아 초인적인 전투능력을 가졌고, MH를 조종할 수 있는 헤드라이너(사람들에게는 「기사」라고 불린다.)들이며, 또한 그 양자의 중매를 하는 인공생명체「파티마」. 이렇게 2가지이다. 그 조커에서 인류를 훨씬 능가하는 2개의 존재가 만나 연결된다. 한 사람은 혹성 델타·베른의 통치자이며 성단 제일의 미모와 두뇌 그리고 수많은 신기를 가지고있는 「빛의 신」"아마테라스의 미카도"(천조제). 또 한 사람은 광기의 천재과학자 Dr.발란셰가 창조한, 아마테라스와 동등의 힘을 지닌 「초생명체(더블 입실론·휴먼)」"라키시스". 이윽고 그들은 성단 전체를 전쟁의 불꽃에 휘말려들게 하는 대침공을 개시하고, 그러자 인류의 생존과 명예을 건 신과의 싸움이 시작된다.

남자들로만 이루어진 젠트라디군과 여자들로만 이루어진 멜트란디군은 지구를 둘러싸고 계속해서 전쟁을 해오고 있었다. 갑자기 시행된 공격을 피하다 우주에서 표류하게된 초거대 요새전함 '마크로스'는 지구로의 힘겨운 여정을 진행하고 있다. 젠트라디의 또 다른 습격이 있던 어느날, 발키리 편대의 이치조 히카루는 우연히 유명 아이돌 린 민메이를 구해내게 된다. 이를 계기로 서로에게 빠져드는 두사람. 하지만 격화되는 전화 속에서 히카루는 항상 티격태격하던 상관 하야미 미사와 표류하게 되고, 히카루는 미사의 진지한 모습에 또 다른 호감을 느끼게 된다. 히카루와 민메이, 미사는 그런 마음의 동요를 가진 채 반복되는 전쟁을 겪어나가게 되는데..

때는 22세기. 인류는 워프기관을 완성시켜 속속 우주로 진출하는 중이다. 그 번영의 이면에는, 우주개척을 위해 온갖 위험하고 곤란한 일을 도맡아 하는 전문 청부업자들의 노력이 숨어 있다. 그들을 사람들은 '크러셔'라고 부른다. 고액의 보수를 요구하지만 절대 비합법적인 일은 맡지 않는 프로페셔널 집단. 그러한 크러셔들 가운데 특A급의 실력을 자랑하는 한 젊은이가 있었다. - 그 청년이야말로 영광스런 초기 크러셔의 영웅이며 현재 크러셔 평의회의 의장을 맡고 있는 크러셔 단의 아들, '크러셔 죠'인 것이다.
