Meral is a show girl and drug addict and Yilmaz is a handsome police chief who fights against drug dealers. The tragic reality of the glamorous show world is revealed in the film's story. They work cooperatively and in a police operation headed by Yilmaz Haci and his men are caught wounded, but Meral gets shot.

A fortune-teller reveals the Sultan that his daughter will get married to somebody poor, born on the same day with her. So, the Sultan gets all the baby boys born on the same day are killed and only Kadir is saved. Kadir and Leyla grow up together. Leyla wants to marry him but the Sultan refuses this idea. He orders Kadir to be killed, yet Kadir survives fatally wounded. Leyla finds Kadir's place where he is kept as a prisoner. As they escape they get caught. Leyla dies and Kadir who has lost her loved one goes to the desert with the image of Leyla alive in his heart.

Unlike all other films of Cuneyt Arkin, this film picture is taken by a highly skilled team with quite a lot of preparations. The scenario is a fairy tale which is pleasantly supported by some high quality visual effects (prepared in a visual lab in England). The scenes are all supported with high quality decorations of the old times of the tale. Cuneyt Arkin with his athletic capabilities enables the hero of this tale to be brought to life in his act. It is really unlucky for the film team to prepare such a good film after a series of junk films which directly reduced the interest to this high quality film.

Eva's father refuses his illegitimate grandson from a Turkish worker. She comes to Kayseri, Turkey with her illegitimate child to seek her lover, Ismail Acar. Ismail is now working at Sümer Cotton Cloth factory as a mechanic and establishing a small private business. Eva finds her ex-lover Ismail who now lives with his wife and children. A young engineer Aydin comes back to his hometown after years of education as a mining engineer in London. Selami, the owner of a local wood company, paid for Aydin's tuition and expenses. Selami has been the employer of Aydin's father in the past and he acts like an elder brother for Aydin, offers him to stay in his house. Aydin starts to work as the chief engineer in one of the mining companies. From the first day onwards Aydin opposes the mining practices imposed by Rahmi Bey, the owner of the company. He orders to stop mining and deals with the wood sellers who sell low-quality wood used to support the thrusts in the mines.
