Haji Salleh who was seperated by his family in Singapore fell sick when he was in Mecca. He had a wife, Ainon, a daughter Petum and a son Bahar who is an Inspector Police. Before he passed away he made a will who was entrusted to Sidek to be given to his family. As he arrived back in Singapore the beg which had the letter and money in it was stolen by Kamal, who stole the money and through it away. Kamal not later after that was arrested by the police. By coincidence, Kamal's daughter was Inspector Bahar's boyfriend. Sidek came to the Police Station as he heard about the arrest that has been made to the thief who stole the money. But he was taken back when he saw the face of the criminal who resembled so much of his friend who passed away, Haji Salleh.

Tells the tale of Aladdin a young naughty boy with brains. One day a sorcerrer came up to him and admitted that he was his father. He brought Aladdin into a cave to accompany him in getting a lamp in the cave. Aladdin just followed his orders. As he got hold of the lamp he was hypnotized by it and couldn't get his eyes off of it. As the sorcerrer screamed to Aladdin to pass him the light Aladdin resisted and he was buried in the cave as the cave came down on him. To Aladdin's surprise there was a Genie in the lamp and requested his wishes to return home. Aladdin had three wishes to be made. What will his three wishes be?

This film is about Osman that accuse his wife dishonest with him after been slander by his own cousin. Does he overcome the matter at the end?

The film Dewi Murni is an adaptation of Kalidasa’s Shakuntala. This is established through the identification of chronological events that are similar to the story of Shakuntala authored by Kalidasa. Adaptations have been made to the Indian story, transforming it to the Malay version and prominent differences are notable. The principal story of Dewi Murni remains the same whereby the main characters meet in unlikely surroundings, woo and get married. Both King Dushyanta [in Shakuntala] and King Indraloka [in Dewi Murni] lose memory of their wives (in different ways), the heroines lose their signet rings and are rejected by their respective husbands at the palace court. In both stories, the rings are discovered in a fish’s maw and upon its re-emergence, the kings’ memories of their respective wives are regained. Few years passed by the rebellious King had passed away and was succeeded by his Prince. As the new king made his normal visits to the villagers his eyes was attracted to the young Princess who has grown up. The King and the princess have fallen in love deeply and was so happy on how things are going on with their relationship. But, will she ever take her rightful place on the throne over her country?

This movie is about the life of a native island girl who encounters love for the first time.

The film draws on the tribulations following the Japanese Occupation and the subsequent stirrings of nationalism that arose. It marked the first time that both Chinese and Malay were portrayed on equal footing in a local production, with dialogue in both languages to depict how racial unity ensured the success of guerilla warfare in that era. The film follows the Malay protagonist, Rashid, in his work as a radio spy signaller for the allied forces in Japanese-occupied Singapore until his arrest by the Kempetai (Japanese military police) and subsequent escape and encounter with the man who betrayed him. - Government of Singapore

Apparently in production in 1942, production of this film was cancelled due to the Second World War when the Japanese occupied Singapore. Fortunately, production was resumed after the war.

Leila Majnun is a well-known Arabian Persian tragedy of love in the vein of Romeo and Juliet with elements of the Arabian One Thousand and One Nights. The plot centres on two lovers – Leila and Majnun – who are denied this love because of social conventions. Majnun is driven to despair and madness because of this loss, thus living up to his name Majnun, which means “madness” in Arabic.
