1985년 멕시코에서 실제로 발생했던 국립 인류학박물관의 도난 사건에서 영감을 얻었다. 의사 아버지를 둔 부유층 자제 후안은 차일피일 졸업을 미루며 부모 집에 얹혀산다. 후안은 친구인 윌슨과 함께 박물관의 고대유물을 훔치기로 작정하고 치밀한 계획을 세운다. 어설프기 짝이 없는 두 사람이지만 절도 계획만큼은 치밀하기 그지없고 계획은 성공으로 이어진다. 가엘 가르시아 베르날이 주연과 제작총괄로 참여한 "박물관 도적단"은 루이즈팔라시오스의 모든 장기를 유감없이 보여준다. 소위 ‘루저’라 불리는 두 젊은이의 절도는 재기 넘치는 코미디와 하이스트 영화의 장르적 재미를 따라가는 듯하다가도 이내 가족 드라마와 블랙코미디, 80년대 레트로풍의 이미지를 경유한 멜랑콜리와 절묘하게 결합한다. 자칫 산만한 나열로 그칠 수 있는 다양한 관심과 스타일을 묶어내는 세련된 프로덕션과 연출은 감독의 차기작을 기대하게끔 한다. 2018년 베를린영화제 각본상 수상작. Echo of the Mountain takes a look at the life and work of Santos de la Torre, a great Huichol artist who, like his people, lives in oblivion. Despite having made a great mural for the metro station Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre, Santos lives isolated and ignored in his country. This documentary follows his pilgrimage to Wirikuta, where he asks gods for permission to make a new mural; his journey across 385 miles of the Peyote Route, and Santos's creative process during the making of a new mural which aims to illustrate the history, mythology and religious traditions of the Huichol people.

In recent years it has become the handiest character of Mexican cinema: the Chilango fleeing the capital to the province in search of something. But this case is different because the trip is used as an excuse to illustrate, through documentary techniques, the deep contrasts of Mexican society. Tired of the city, Javier goes to visit his aunt, an eccentric woman with quite radical ideas, who lives isolated from the world in a ranch in Querétaro. A touching story of drama and action, which shows us how a common family can be, when they less expect it, the main players in a surprising and dangerous adventure, for in life anything can change... when things happen.

In a world devoured by an invisible force known as disenchantment, the stories of three characters intertwine: Diego, who tries to make a movie about the dreams of Ximena, an adolescent experiencing her sexual awakening, who is secretly in love with him and who, in order to help him in his bizarre project, leads him to Ainda, a conceptual artist with bat wings, with whom the naïve filmmaker falls madly in love. Ainda is attracted by the purity of the young people and seduces them both, which leads to a magical moment in the lives of all three. But soon the young people discover that their beloved harpy’s heart belongs to a being from beyond the grave. Then the idyllic relationship of the three characters begins to crumble and they do everything in their power to prevent it, as the dark force of disenchantment closes over the city.

A poignant and moving urban drama, focusing on the growing problem of sexual assault in Mexico City. Director Sistach fictionalizes the true story of a friendship between two adolescent girls which is torn apart when one of them is brutally raped.
