Two childhood friends, Buchek and Jaha, met again in Kuala Lumpur after being separated for so long. They’re now young adults – but due to different experiences in life, their attitudes and views about the world became totally different from one another. Buchek is a graduate from UM while Jaha, who used to stay in a rehabilitation school Henry Gurney, is now trapped into the hustle and bustle of city life in Kuala Lumpur. After they met, Jaha decided to share and show some parts of his life with Buchek, who happens to lead a totally different lifestyle than him. Buchek witnessed the wild lifestyles of Jaha and felt the need to bring him back into the righteous path.

Ku Izham is a lonely, quiet guy, trying to adjust to life working in Kuala Lumpur. Whilst he has found a job and has quite a stable life, he does not feel content. Until one day…. he meets a beautiful naïve girl Khatijah, a lonely girl who has a secret so deep that she takes drugs to forget her past. Ku doesn’t know of her shady past and thinks that he has found one good thing in his miserable life. He goes back to his hometown and tries to convince his best friend, Shahrul to come to KL with him. Shahrul refuses, wanting to stay in Perlis rather than face the hectic life of the city. Ku is disappointed but keeps trying to persuade Shahrul, even though deep down he is not too sure why he is lying about this so called “good life” in the city.

A story about role models and idols, "Idola" tells the tale of Farah, a lawyer and the elder sister of Nana. Trouble brews when Nana starts to idolised Elise, a popular singer, which is a big no-no for Farah, who thinks that people from the entertainment world should not be trusted, let alone be role models.

The story is based on a love triangle involving the three lead characters set on a beautiful secluded island. The man who plucks the most coconuts wins the hand of the prettiest girl in the village, Rosnah. To prove that each is worthy of Rosnah's hand in marriage they will have to fight with their own weapons. Awang uses the traditional 'kapak bertali', while Sidibijo uses a 'laser gun' he made himself.
