But in spite of his death Thorvald can still follow those left behind. From a distance, and for better or worse, he sees with his own eyes the imprint he has left on his family and especially his son Vincent, who had a strained relationship with his father.

Mads "Crumb" Krumborg need a new bike so he can take part in an important race against a neighboring school. But it will be difficult to afford to buy a new printer, since the boy's father suddenly decides to terminate his job to invent a machine that according to him will change the world. At the same time a couple of crooks wind of his father's invention, and when the family Krum Borg's future is in problems, Crumb and his siblings to the occasion and save the day.

Player follows a righteous, self-controlled and rather boring lawyer (Bjerg), who is sent to Nice on a divorce case. On Simon's 29th birthday his father Mogens, who has not been part of his and his older brother Jens' lives for many years, suddenly turns up - declaring that he wants to give him a sports car. Mogens is mentally ill and has been in and out of hospital for years, and as he becomes more and more agitated and violent, Jens has to take him back to the hospital. However Mogens manages to talk Jens into helping him find the car. For one day and one night the two of them drive around Copenhagen looking for the car, and the trip becomes a moving odyssey where father and son will finally get to know one another.

Poul is a struggling magician looking for just the right trick to take him to the big time. To get the money to acquire 'The Sawed-in-Half Lady' from Frankfurt he makes a deal with Arne, a shifty insurance agent. Using his magic skills, Poul pretends to be a clairvoyant exorcist, while Arne supplies the clients. Then Poul meets Lærke, the owner of the 'Spiritual Universe' store, and he realises there really is more between heaven and earth and that a whole woman is better than two half ones.

Jens Christian er en strømlinet karrieredreng og nyudnævnt formand for Flygtningenævnet.
